Hello everyone!Me and my american husband got married here in the philippines almost 2 years already. My husband wants to get me and our daughter SSN and ITIN for tax purposes in US. How can we apply and get ssn on me and ITIN that im still here in the philippines and no visa yet? How can we get and apply for our 1 yr. old daughter SSN and ITIN?She already got her CRBA and US passport already but she still with me here in the philippines.My husband was there in US.

Since you do not have an SSN (and can't get one now), you will need to apply for an ITIN to be able to file US taxes as Married Filing Jointly with your husband. ITIN can be applied for by filling out Form W-7, and you will need to attach your original passport, or a copy of your passport certified by the issuing agency or by the US consulate (if they will do that). Or, your husband can file as Married Filing Separately and you wouldn't need to get an ITIN.

Yes the USEM in Manila. That's where we requested for my baby's SSN.

You just need your baby's CRBA certificate and passport. Bring copies as well.
