It wasn’t a Muslim ban. 

I only sent one bank statement for the whole time we were together, but I had tax returns, life insurance, etc. So I think they look at the totality of the package you send in.

I’m California. Submitted ROC last March, and they had me do the biometrics last May. Submitted my RFE response 2 weeks ago, and they are having me do biometrics again in 2 weeks. Weird.

The current form on the USCIS website expired 11/30/2017 and they have not updated it yet. Do we go ahead and use that one anyway?

That's awesome GoBucks! 5 days ago was 1 month of POE for my husband. It's weird I received an email 2 days ago saying "case was sent to the Department of State for Visa Processing". No idea what that is for or about. Called NVC and they said not to worry, that the system automatically sends out messages and apologized. But we are not going to feel 100% good until his green card arrives, hopefully any day!

Miss you guys too!!! Been crazy busy at work! But you guys all keep in touch please!!

Husband received his Social Security Card in the mail the other day, came pretty fast! Now just waiting for the actual Green Card! Things are coming together. I hope all our June peeps are moving in the right direction.

And GoBucks! you are right, see you all in a few months for our ROC! haha and it starts all over again.

Well I only live an hour's drive from the border, and I had my car packed up and ready to go.

I drove across into Detroit through the tunnel and the officer at the outside booth was quite rude, but I'm pretty used to that there. Once I was inside at secondary inspection it was ok. The CO helping me had never done one before so he was asking another officer how to do things. They also used mine for training for others. He asked me a few questions and it took about a half hour. Everything that I sent CIS and NVC was in the packet mailed to me. Overall the process was fine, but I hardly ever see any smiles in Detroit.

POE yesterday in Detroit. All good!

Booked my flight... POE will be 3/29!
