It's so crazy every rep has something different to say. I called yesterday inquiring for my CC email and she said it automatically gets emailed after 7 days of CC and my CC was on February 4th (so I should get it tomorrow). My CC was confirmed however by a NVC rep on February 2nd.

Now after hearing this, does that mean we aren't "Officially" complete? NVC is so confusing with their mixed responses. Definitely call back FL Bear, that sounds very sketchy to me, hopefully a different rep will give you some better news...

NVC rep I just spoke to believes Canada is done scheduling for March, but he's not 100% sure. LOL.

GoBucks, they admitted it comes out a few days AFTER. It is NOT immediate so, if like me, a "few days" can be the difference between a $500 plane ticket or a near $1,000 plane ticket, you call to know immediately.

For real. Watchin my email like a hawk. Why can't they just send emails immediately on assignment.

Just called NVC at their 7:30am on hold all of 30 sec. and confirmed CC and no interview.

It was cute the lady said "We will notify you immediately when you are assigned an interview".

I wonder if that interview email comes out directly after it is assigned, or later that day or night.

Okay I don't know if its nepotism or not but Hallelujah I got Case Complete.

Best part was I saw the 3 NA's covered my mouth my husband thought I bit my tongue. I showed him what I was seeing on my phone and he gave me a big hug and kiss and said "Baby we did it".

Scan date 1/4. Today is day 36.

Mt timeline is jacked and trying to get the admin Captain Ewok to fix it.

Thank you! Good to know...I am pretty sure it will be going to my stupid Lawyer and he is a slacker, so he might of received it already. NVC NEVER has sent me anything and they have my email on file. So wacked.

That is weird. My attorney and the both of us get the emails. Did the NVC reps ever repeat your email back to you over the phone?

No - I completed my medical in Vancouver. It was a joke lol. I'll probably write up a review in the Canada forum today.

I think I'll do mine in Toronto ahead of time once I get the interview sheet.

Montreal seems to be very quiet lately too, I haven't heard any news from others about Montreal embassy/Canada since January. Haha they should be exploding with interview dates for all of us. They just can't be done!

You've got a good shot at March but each embassy is different and how many slots they have available for each month.

Just received my CC today so I am joining this thread. waiting for my wife interview in Abudhabi , UAE.

Anything I need to know about or do ? Or its just that waiting game again . I feel like I have a PhD in waiting now :-)

No we didn't, more than one rep at NVC said the next thing will be an interview letter. I see people here talk about CC letters but NVC didn't mention anything about it. The interview info will come, waiting sucks but the excitement is kinda fun knowing we have something special coming up.

We will definitely meet up if the interview date is the same!! I love Montreal, really fun city.

I just called for the fun of it, and the rep thought that Montreal may already be full for March, but she couldn't confirm it. I don't think she knew what she was talking about. She gave the same kind of answers like everything is backed up and blah, blah, but it is good you are in Montreal as they are one of the better embassies. Anyway, let me know if you guys hear any different.

Still waiting for an interview date. Jason and I have called about every other day and get told that it hasn't been scheduled yet. Multiple reps at NVC told us that the next correspondence we will receive will be the interview letter. Not mad at NVC or Montreal, it will all happen in due time. Hopefully in the next week or so.

Congrats to Cosmos and GoBucks! Would be sweet if we had our interview on the same day in Montreal!

This is odd this morning my aos fee said paid now it says n/a. my scan date is 1/22/16

Sounds like you may have a CC. I would give NVC a call.

Just to be 100% safe, I printed it out and then wrote "N/A" or "None" in every single blank field, including all the Alien Registration Number, ELIS account number, interpreter and preparer sections--and then scanned it in and sent that as the final document (Canada has electronic processing). Make sure you sign in blue ink for the 'Sponsor's Signature' section so they are sure that its an original and not a copy. Good luck!

I think the blue ink thing has gone by the wayside. Someone actually got checklisted for using it a week or so ago.

For those that have CC already.....if/when you completed your I-864EZ, when you printed for signature and date, did you go back and write in "N/A" for anything that was left blank? Or with the new form, is it safe to leave it blank without fear of getting a checklist?

Would that be the "P4, interview letter"? Also does your status ever change to "At NVC" when you check your status on the CEAC website after NVC confirms CC? Thank you!!

Cosmos, I think we will get the letter shortly after the interview is booked. My status currently says "At NVC" on the CEAC site after my CC today. From the spreadsheet it looks as though Canada booked some appointments at the very end of January, so I'm not sure if they will book us until the middle of this month. I see Florida Bear has no interview yet after 2 weeks or so, so maybe there are more to book yet this week. Hope so.

On a positive note, that was a pretty quick turnaround. Some have waited 45 days to get a checklist, and then have to submit more docs.

What was the checklist for if you don't mind me asking?

Mine took a couple of weeks (e-mail). There was some sort of back-up in the system at the time. So, you should receive yours a little sooner than that.
