does she have any reason to think you only married her for the green card?
Ok so don't know about prenups and that how she answered you? that is a RED flag waving in your face to begin with. I don't see the love in this story. If this is me- i will pack my bags go home. No one deserves to be treated this way. Take her stuffs as in household stuffs and electronics?! Common... She belittles you - that is a huge insult in my opinion.
7 years and have seen each other 3 times on short duration - you never knew how it is to be together- together.
she treats you this way because she don't see you as a husband or a partner.

You need the annotated MC and you also need a CEMAR from PSA. Bring also the original and copy of your Shariah divorce decision during the interview. There are some members here that were divorced thru shariah and successfully obtained K1 and got married in US.

    Good luck on your process.

She can still attend the CFO even without her passport/ visa. She will be given a GC Certificate then she can go back to the CFO office to get the sticker when she received her passport/ visa back. Re-scheduling can be done on-line but dates are not readily available, she can only reschedule after her missing her cfo appointment.

I cannot read the entire Phil Family code for your convenience and justify the law to you. The naming convention for Filipinos is as is; that is not tradition nor optional since no one can opt not to use their mother's maiden name as their middle name. There are laws for legitimate child and illegitimate child in standard naming.

Naming standard in the Philippines is: First name - given name; Middle name - Mother's maiden name; last name- father's family name. That is as per Philippine standard naming, the same problem encountered by some Filipinos born in the US that didn't use their Filipino mothers maiden name. That is as per family code of the Philippines.
Art. 174. Legitimate children shall have the right:

    (1) To bear the surnames of the father and the mother, in conformity with the provisions of the Civil Code on Surnames; You can fight DFA on how come PSA/ NSO allowed the name of the child knowing the law. Since changing the name is not your option, you have to settle not getting a Philippine Passport for your child.

My AED has that same update onNov. 1 and my AP was approved Nov 2. My 2 K2s AED/ AP were both updated on Nov. 1 so I thought that was strange. You will get your AP approval in the next few hours or days

My priority date is blank too. Don't worry about it, you don't really need priority dates. Priority dates are actually the date when they received the packet. I have seen Priority dates on I-130. So when you will check your local USCIS processing time, your basis is your received date.

No, each of your will be processed at POE separately. You will be transferred to another counter for more thorough review of your docs (they will open your sealed packet).

Hi everyone! After browsing here for weeks, I've finally made an account. Will start processing my K1 visa application this month. *cross fingers*
Anyway, there's just something going on in VJ that I find quite annoying. Mean "top advisers"-- this is my name to those constantly quick to extend help to whatever topic they can.
Of course I appreciate those people, who doesn't?? But I'm noticing an increasing number being quite mean to novice advisers.
I guess if a person was giving out 100% wrong advise, then by all means, call them out. But don't be mean in saying, "you just said what I said." Like once they leave advice, any other person is no longer allowed to give advice? So what if the question was answered in so many ways? It's still correct though.
This is a FORUM people! Everybody wants to help each other, to promote discussion. Every OP, would love to receive as much help and support. Those "top advisers" are awesome, giving time and energy to share what they know, helping out. Let's just be nice. I mean, you guys were once novice advisers too.

cristina16 got a reaction from Boiler in My tourist visa denied because i answered no to the question if anyone applied a visa for me before? I was not sure because i didnt pursued b4
Hi! The exact question on the DS 160 was if there was any petition filed on your behalf.
You answered NO to this, that is already wrong. When the I-129F Petition was filed, that is already a petition on your behalf, even if years have passed. That is in the system.
Before the actual interview and everyone says here in VJ, your application was already reviewed and most likely a decision has been made. The actual interview is just a confirmatory process. So before you actually stand in front of the consul he knows all about the K1 Visa application; when he pulled out your data in the system, everything about you is on the screen. They already have checked your application based on the data that they have on the system.
The CO knows you are lying by saying NO and you lied twice by saying NO again.
When he asked you Who is Richard? That was your chance to explain, you could have explained that you forgot about that application since it was 8 years ago. That is in the system so they know if was that long ago. But you keep on answering No when asked about the previous Visa application. Of course you were caught off guard.
Applying again so soon? after the recent denial and all your records in the system is another denial in the making.

He is single and been here 8 years and is looking for a quick cheaper option, so if he was in a relationship might want to push it forward.
Having said that EB2 is a nice way as well, but usually the Employer pays. And that seems a lot.

cristina16 got a reaction from Tahoma in How Many Ports could a Passport Pass If...
She needs to apply for a Passport renewal (Not a New passport application) with a name change. The form should be on her Maiden name. She can do this even if the passport is still valid for years. Bring an Annotated MC from PSA, BC from PSA and copy of complete Annulment papers, bring the original just in case they ask to see it, but a copy of annulment will suffice for the application process. I was not asked for a Cenomar/ Cemar when I renewed my passport and revert back to my maiden name, but since she has it already she can also bring it and present only if asked. DFA will get all original of PSA docs.

Wow... it's hard to believe that your relationship failed.
Basically, you are telling us that the basis of your relationship is cost. American women are perceived to be more expensive? So you thought that a foreign woman from a poor country would worship you at your feet for rescuing her that she would never ask for anything (clothes, shoes, makeup, etc.) Your whole analogy of women to cars is very creepy. I'm not the over-sensitive PC type either and it bothers me. Apart from that your wife is entering the prime of her life while you are hitting your midlife crisis. Age in itself can be overcome, but not with (see above) working against her.
