From the makers of hoover robot 'Roomba', iRobot Corporation, has now been accepted by U.S. government regulators, Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to start working on and selling a "robotic lawn mower" (RLM).

The iRobot RLM will depend on stakes fitted into the ground - complete with transmitters - to help it move around outdoors. The stakes' transmitters will communicate with one another and then the lawn mower, to help track a route around the garden.

The stakes are expected to be no higher than 24 inches above the ground, and both the RLM and stakes must not communicate with other devices, according to the FCC document.

Islamic State's Egyptian affiliate published a photograph it said was of the beheaded body of a Croatian hostage it had threatened to kill last week, the SITE monitoring service said on Wednesday.

Reuters could not independently verify the authenticity of the picture, which carried a caption that said: "killing of the Croatian hostage, due to his country's participation in the war against Islamic State, after the deadline expired ... ".

If confirmed, it would be the first beheading of a Western hostage held by Sinai Province, the Egyptian group which changed its name from Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis after it pledged allegiance to Islamic State.

In India(AJ put me on this one) when a baby is born, they wish it to white. That's considered a good thing.

They wish it was light skinned. Not necessarily white. If it was born white they'd think it was defective or something. Where'd the melanin go? Sheeyut, must be defective.

She is beautiful. Did you find what was considered beauty to Google for a black or brown woman? Because when I searched there were no brown or black women for beauty on Google. There were no Asian women either.

The problem is, how do you change your skin color to make it lighter, safer? It is the same with lightening your hair color. It requires bleach.

I would be against it regardless just because women should learn to be comfortable and ok with their beauty just the way they are. But you do propose a good question. Will the people of Ivory Coast be ok with whitening cream if they found a safer cream to use?

And even though both genders are looking for a "catch," men do not have to go through the extremities that women have to go through to be considered beautiful.

This is true. For white men, they are attracted to women of other races who have white features, like a pointy nose and straight hair. So if a woman is interested in attracting a man of this race she has to conform to what this man considers beautiful in his eyes.

Exactly. Gotta have those Aryan features, they'll look past a slight skin tone deviation if everything else is in place.

Because they all want white men like you. Most black/indian/etc women married to white men are of the light-skinned variety. So they play the odds. Whitening cream is a no-lose proposition. Either you stay as dark as you are or you get prettier and the white man likes you.

Whitening creams are big business, not just in Africa but all over the world where the girls aren't white and pretty.

Best way to destroy ISIS is to pull all military out of the region and circle the region with orphanages, schools, baby hospitals, etc. Rebuild infrastructure everywhere that's not ISIS owned and leave the ISIS owned areas out of it. Make the surrounding region intensely grateful to the western world for their advanced infrastructure, lower maternal death rates, etc. ISIS proof them and make ISIS look like idiots.
