Finally is my turn to share my n 400 interview experience!!!!!

Interview scheduled April 13th
Interview rescheduled to September 9th ,did not receive any updates on a website, got a notice through a snail mail 
Los Angels field office : appointment time 7:15 am  ,got called in at 9:30 am 
Officer was really nice and made me feel very comfortable,  however it was a throughout Interview I applied through marriage but not under 3 years rule,  at the moment of submission of an application it was 3years 9 months , during the interview the officer asked for proof of marriage documents. Keep in mind it was not listed on an interview notice letter. I brought tax papers for the past 4 years,  joint bank statements,  water and power bills,  phone bills etc . The officer thanked me for bringing all of those documents and made copies of it. Then asked me 6 civic questions and " yes " "no" questions,  asked me to read a question on the i pad and write an  answer, congratulate  me on passing the test and informed me that Oath ceremony will be held in about 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, 3 hours later we were informed that Oath ceremony will not happen today due to the glitch in their system and that they will notify us about the date and time of a ceremony via phone calll. Good luck!  My wife's interview is on September 25 and Last day to register to vote is October 5.  We are hoping for an oath ceremony in time to register to vote.

Just received a notice that my interview has been 'de-scheduled', and there's no update on when it's been rescheduled for. What on earth should I do now?

If they don't do the same day Oath Ceremony, there's a big possibility and I agree with you.
 
Just an update, my interview is scheduled on the end of September. It's a bit nerve wracking considering that it's exactly four weeks from today. Good luck to everyone especially my fellow DC filers @Pete20155 and @Valor. Just two more steps and we'll be done with  the immigration process. 🥰

Lol this is the scariest thing I ever read yet the funniest. My estimated time disappeared too and they’re giving interviews to people that applied after me. You might actually be right and my file could be just dormant in the system. Like alive data but in coma. Only god knows when it will wake up. 

My estimated completion time says (January 2021), but I have my oath ceremony next month. I think the estimate is not accurate and you could probably get an interview sooner.

It sucks how USCIS process cases? No standard whatsover and they kept on claiming that they processed cases in the order they received which is a big lie.Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it:(

Woke up this morning and saw email notification from USCIS which read We have taken an action on your case and it needs your attention . Please sign into your online account to view your case status. Logged in and yayyyy...status said ...Interview  scheduled.
I also checked the documents tab and it had  the PDF version of the Interview Notice.
Interview Date: October 1st 2020
Interview Time: 11.10 AM
Location: Fairfax, VA
 I am super excited and will begin studying for my test, got a whole month to prepare.

I also received my new interview date, September 29th at Newark, NJ!
 
I originally applied in August 2019, was scheduled originally on April 15th, but that was postponed.

Please keep us updated on this particular process and if it happens that fast for you! I trust that, from your update, many of us will take that route because we all just want to be done with USCIS and immigration stuff 🙄

My journey will end today! In an hour I’ll have my oath ceremony  crazy to think I know some of you guys since 2015 when we first applied for a K1 VISA. I first moved here in 2010 on a F1 student visa, today is finally the day I was dreaming about since I was little boy. I wish nothing but the best to everyone in here!!! 

On Monday we got a call from the Mount Laurel, NJ field office cancelling our infopass appointment for ADIT stamp because they said we had an interview scheduled within 30 days and didn’t want people in the office if it wasn’t necessary due to Covid. Today the account updated with the letter and my husbands interview is on 9/24/2020 (which happens to be our 4th wedding anniversary). We were totally not expecting an interview any time soon or even this year,

Just now Finished my Oath Ceremony in Kansas City,MO.
Have Naturalization Certificate in hand. 
It was quick process.
Now will register to vote 
Apply for passport.
& Update Social security administration about my Citizenship.
 
As for passport application is considered I learnt that if you fill it online and print the form with the barcode and submit it to the post office, the barcode makes the computer process your passport within a week. I am gonna try that and see. 
Finally my almost 10 year immigration journey is Over. 
 
When my attorney did nothing, Visa journey came to my rescue and helped in each step along the way. 
I am very grateful for this forum and for each and everyone of you contributing to the knowledge in your own way.

If I’m not mistaken.. you don’t get the certificate back...but I could be wrong 

My oath ceremony was scheduled today. I need to wait for it to show on my USCIS account. 

I finally had my oath ceremony today.
 
For reference, I filed on June 24, 2019, had my interview on March 5th-was not instantly approved due to fingerprint issues so I had to submit a police clearance certification which I did on March 28th. 
 
I honestly wasn't expecting anything until end of this year, and frankly, I would not mind at all since health is far more important than my citizenship, but the notice came and now it's finally done.

Update: Interview date scheduled for Sept 16th.
 

The following is from the check-off list of documents necessary as proof of spousal citizenship.  Please note the "or" after each mentioned proof.
If you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen, send the following 4 items: 1. □ Evidence that your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the last 3 years:
a. Birth certificate (if your spouse never lost citizenship since birth); or
b. Certificate of Naturalization; or
c. Certificate of Citizenship; or
d. The inside of the front cover and signature page of your spouse’s current U.S. passport.
 
However, just to be safe, I would send a copy of  "Certificate of Naturalization" or "Certificate of Naturalization" unless lost or whatever (To be on the safe side, if lost you might want to have at least the paperwork of requesting (expensive) a new Certificate of Naturalization).  
 
Here is a link to the full list of documents required when applying using the N-400 form. Just a warning, I've seen other required document lists that have an "and" after "Certificate of Naturalization and" USA passport".

Just a warning, the above requirements could easily be changed by USCIS.

Hello, I just passed my interview yesterday day
 
the IO was really nice and it felt like we were just talking. 
I was sworn in and after that she asked for my passports, GC and driver’s license.

She went straight to do the civics test.
What did the emancipation proclamation do?
Who is the Father of our country? 
Who is the Vice President?
When must all men register for the Selective Service?
Which state borders Mexico?
What war was between the North and South?

I forgot the English and writing test but it was about which state had the most people...
 
Then we went through my n400 and she told me that I passed and will be mailing out when and where the oath taking will be.
 
I then asked how long it would take for the notice to arrive and she said it’ll be 30-90 days because of the covid. I looked at my online myuscis acct and it said estimated completion time will be September(1 month). 

Attended my interview this week just to be told that my A File was missing and didn’t arrived, this is so unprofessional and unorganized.

My wife's interview is September 25 at Ft. Myers, Florida.  We still have a small chance to vote this year.  Last day to register to vote in Florida is October 5th.  Recently had 2 people in Florida that have oath ceremony scheduled  within 2 weeks of completing the interview.

Don't know if this matters to anyone but I have seen that processing times for the N400 at the various Field Offices were updated today.  

I'm sorry to hear that...just toeing the finish line for this hiccup 😕 
I have read from other members who have had their oath ceremonies that they ask you to review the cert for errors and ensure all details on it are accurate otherwise once you leave with the cert and then find errors, you'd have to pay to get it fixed....I pray that this is an easy fix for your both 🤞
