Hello, I filed on January 30th, and havent heard back since. Any idea which months the fairfax office is processing?
My dates are:
Jan 30 filed
Feb 17 biometrics submitted
feb 19 biometrics reviewed
Thanks much!
Just to give you an idea, I've had my interview on the 30th of September and did file for N-400 on November 21st. Not sure which month/s are they processing now. Good luck on your application. You should be able to hear back from them soon. 🥰

Well hoping to get the decision sooner. Where I had to wait for so long I don't mind waiting a couple more months, but anything longer than that will cause me anxiousness. Thank you. @kenzo_gal How did your Oath Ceremony go ? did you apply for your passport yet ?
I know and hopefully you'll hear from them asap. The ceremony was okay and it could've been better without the pandemic. The officer who have conducted the ceremony said that naturalization area used to be full of applicants with their families. The ceremony itself was short and very straight forward. You'll then get your Naturalization Certificate towards the end.

I don't know what happened with our spreadsheet but only a few names were left on it and even mine was gone. Anyways, I have entered mine again and hope you don't mind that I have arranged it in chronological order. Please feel free to make an update or add yours if you haven't already. 🥰

Thank you @Pete20155
I have read the same response like yours before and some of them got a decision after a few days or weeks. Hopefully, you'll hear from them as soon as possible. God bless.

Yesterday, I took an Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America. It was a mixed of emotions since I am happy that after migrating here for five years, eight months and five days, I am finally done with the immigration process and at the same time, it was with a heavy heart to renounce my citizenship to my Mother Land. I will always love my country of birth and origin no matter what, and will always continue and raise my children with the Filipino values and morals that were taught and passed down to me by my parents, but I also love to live and fulfill my American dream in God's time.
The ceremony could've been better with my family around, but due to the present pandemic, I had to attend and took an oath all by myself. But on the lighter note, I am finally done and I am so over the moon. To God be the Glory!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you all for sharing your inputs, your own experiences and for your positivity. I wish everyone the best. 🥰

Congratulations... Can I ask you what were the 6 questions you were asked on your civics exam as well as your reading/writing sentence if you don't mind? Thank you
Thank you @aa1979. Below are the questions that were asked during my interview last Tuesday. Sorry I am trying my best to recall but I will update this one if I'm able to remember some more questions. 😅
1. How many U.S .Representatives are there?
2. Who is the President during WW II?
3. Name 3 original colonies.
4. When was the Declaration of Independence officially adopted?
5. What is the political party of the President?
6.
7. Writing: When do we vote for President?
8. **The Officer said a sentence that I had to write on the Ipad, but unfortunately, I can no longer recall what it was.**

Awwww thank you so much @Pete20155 and you as well. My youngest (who's now 9 months) was really crying yesterday and glad I was able to put him to sleep and down on bed before heading my way out for my interview. Again, good luck on your interview today. 🥰 I am having a feeling that we might took an oath together. Keep us posted. 🥰

Good luck to both of you. Our interview days are close to each other so maybe they'll schedule us for the Oath on the same day?
If they don't do the same day Oath Ceremony, there's a big possibility and I agree with you.
Just an update, my interview is scheduled on the end of September. It's a bit nerve wracking considering that it's exactly four weeks from today. Good luck to everyone especially my fellow DC filers @Pete20155 and @Valor. Just two more steps and we'll be done with the immigration process. 🥰

Hey @kenzo_gal thank you ! 🥰
Did you also check your residence mail box for the paper interview letter? As, today I checked my mail box and found the Interview letter mailed from USCIS. That was fast considering that my status was changed to approved only on Aug 28th. I hope you get your interview date soon.
And yeah it would be awesome if they do same day oath ceremony, we would not need to wait further or go back again.
Good luck studying for the civics test and keep us posted on your Interview Date!! 👍
Thanks @Pete20155No, I haven't but I keep an eye on my USPS Informed Delivery on a daily basis. I will prolly check it tomorrow 🥰.
Edited: Ooops I already have it in our mailbox today 🥰.

Good and Happy Morning ya'll.
Woke up this morning and saw email notification from USCIS which read We have taken an action on your case and it needs your attention . Please sign into your online account to view your case status. Logged in and yayyyy...status said ...Interview scheduled.
I also checked the documents tab and it had the PDF version of the Interview Notice.
Interview Date: October 1st 2020
Interview Time: 11.10 AM
Location: Fairfax, VA
I am super excited and will begin studying for my test, got a whole month to prepare.
Best of luck to all who are still waiting to hear on their status, I believe the things have started moving faster now as election dates nears.
Yay! So happy for you @Pete20155 🥰
I just checked on mine and the scheduled date is not yet reflected on my uscis.gov account. Might take a few more days to show up. I hope they also do same day oath taking in our area, right? Well that would be great if they do, that way you don't have to come back again given the pandemic.
Time to study 🥰. Much luck to all of our fellow November filers. ❤

Congratulations! Yep, I received my interview notice last week. I didn't receive any email but found out the update when I checked my account online.
Wow! That's good news! Haven't been active here for quite some time. Have you received their mail on the same week that you got an update on your case? I wonder how many more weeks does one has once they tell you that your interview has been scheduled.

Hey that's great news congratulations !! I remember we both had our biometrics on the same day in December 2019.
Hopefully my case status also gets updated soon.
Best wishes for your interview!
Thank You @Pete20155! Yeah I still remember that. I am so anxious now that I know that my interview has been scheduled and I am still waiting for the exact date. You should get yours too in a matter of days or week(s). Please keep us posted too. 🥰

Yay!! Thank you @Valor. Do you mind if I ask how far is your scheduled interview date from the date that is reflected on the regular mail that they have sent to you? Would like to have an idea on how many weeks do I still have to prepare and study. I am so anxious. 😥
