So, we mailed the application and supporting docs and received a receipt notice for Oct. 11th. We received the letter in the mail (receipt notice and biometrics being reused) about 10 days later. We saw in the USCIS app (and online account) that they had received it almost immediately. If you have not seen anything, call the USCIS customer service number. It's nearly impossible to get on the phone with a human if you go the "immigration case" route. So when it asks "why you're calling" say the word "Infopass". It works like a charm to get to a human
Thank you so much and good luck!

Just found out interview date is Dec. 2nd. Location is Oakland Park, FL office. This is one of the fastest processing offices in the country right now.
Hey Congrats!
When you mailed your documents (I mailed my partner own as well) how long before they mailed you the receipt? I haven't gotten any text message, email or mail yet was just wondering how long before you got that update

Anybody applied got theirs sent to New Orleans in the past month still waiting?
Not in the past month but I did, along with my two kids since July 15. I figured it would be further delayed due to the hurricane.

Congratulations to everyone who got their passport. Just a quick question anyone got any updates with record locator starting with 42?

Did anyone else send a money order instead of a check? I chose that option because I thought it might be faster?
Yes I did money order and you can track to see if they cash the money money order by going here. You are going to need the money order serial number. You should have it on the peice they gave you back when you did the money order

Filed for me and my kids passport July 15, no expedited service. I'm in the same boat as some of you. Money order not cash and no movement but I'm not worried. Waited longer than this for green card so the waiting game I'm use to lol.

I had my interview at BOS office (I reside in CT) and I'm also Divorced
I arrived 15mins early and the officer was super nice and I felt comfortable. She was on a video call with me on an iPad to conduct the interview.
We started with the civics test. I was asked 6 questions and got all 6 correct.
- Who was the first President?
- What is the name of the Vice President of the United States now?
- Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived?
- What is the name of the Speaker of the House of Representatives now?
- When is the last day you can send in federal income tax forms?
- What is one responsibility that is only for United States citizens?
We then moved to the reading test. She printed a piece of paper on the printer and asked me to read what it said
"Who lives in the White House?"
Then we moved to a writing test. She printed a piece of paper on the printer and asked me to write
"The President lives in the White House"
She then told me I passed the test and asked me questions about my application. For the people who are divorced, in my case they didn't ask me for any supporting documents (I did walk with my divorce papers but they didn't ask for it). She asked me what is my ex spouse full name and what month and year we got divorce. She asked me if I traveled outside the USA in the past 5 years and where. My date of birth, address and phone number. Then we moved to the yes and no questions that you fill out on your N-400 application (she just basically repeated all the questions and I answered exactly how I wrote it on the form).
After that, she basically printed a form on the printer and told me congratulations she is recommending for my application to be approved. I was so excited, then she said today you will be doing your oath ceremony, I was sooooooo HAPPY! I did the oath ceremony and got my Naturalization paper same day. the entire process took about 30mins or less. I am glad the journey is finally over and I wish you all the best. I am applying for my passport on Friday.

Hey Avania! Congratulations on being a citizen! A quick question please! Were you divorced from the person who you gained your green card from? I'm asking because this is my situation, thank you in advance
Thank You 🙂
Yes same person, the only paperwork we did together was the I-485.
The removal of condition and the N400 I did alone (divorced)
