They had to undergo a sputum test. That was a four-month delay. Now, currently trying to get them rescheduled. Their medical is expiring in March.
Anyway, look at your state senator's website. Check to see if they assist in immigration cases. They will need you to sign a form so they can be your representative and ask on your behalf. -
I filed for my parents IR5 on June 2019, got DQ on June 2020, and then got scheduled for the interview on November 12. They both have the same appointment time.

Update:
I reached out to a state senator for assistance on this immigration case. That was on September 21, 2021. The senator's office replied on September 22, 2021 that they will be reaching out to the NVC on my behalf. On October 12, 2021, both my parents are finally scheduled for an interview at the US embassy. Wish us luck on the medical and interview. All I want for Christmas is to celebrate it with both my parents.

Hello! I have the same issue. Both my parents are DQ'd last year. I contacted NVC first who stated that they have my parents' documents since they have to wait for the Manila US embassy to schedule them for interview. However, I contacted the Manila US embassy who emailed the same response as you have right now. Manila US Embassy says they are waiting for NVC to schedule to interview and forward the petition. I am lost too! I might actually contact my senator/congressman to expedite this case. It's been more than two years now. Our parents are basically in a blackhole limbo.

I filed my petition for my brother who is in the Philippines. Processing time is approximately 21 years for us.

Received email from NVC about notice of immigrant visa case creation: 24 Jun 2019
(the email also states that- If you do not log into CEAC or communicate with NVC regarding this immigrant visa case for a period of one year, by law the Department of State must terminate your visa application.)
So far no update on mother's I-130 case. Besides the USCIS processing date for inquiry is still August 29 2018, so I have another 2 months at least before I could do a follow up with USCIS regarding my mother's case. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I think it is safe to say to stay put for two months. If there's no update by then, follow up with your mom's case but definitely push through you father's process. I'm currently processing my parents' petition. This would be my approach when the time comes and their case is not processed the same time.

I sent the petitions last Monday. It's for both my parents and my brother. It was received yesterday. Currently waiting for NOA1.

The lady at the DMV asked for the SS card. You can just request a new one if you can't find it anymore. I wouldn't suggest mailing that so request a new card.

This is what I've done after my oathtaking:
5 days after -- Passport : I went to the city hall where I can just do a walk-in to apply for a passport. In and out in 5 mins.
15 days after -- Updated my Social Security : Brought my passport after receiving it. I didn't need a new card since mine didn't show any restrictions.
17 days after -- DMV: Applied for the REAL ID so brought my passport and 2 utility bills. Registered to vote as well.
Did I forget anything?

After 43 days of waiting, I got an update on my account. My card is supposedly in production (I-751) and my N400 is finally approved. Currently in line to be scheduled for the oathtaking.

I was in the exact same position as you. It took 22 days for changes to appear on both websites pertaining to N-400. The dhs website hasn't updated the I-751 since May when my case was transferred but it's updated on the egov website.

Just wanted to update everyone. My dad arrived here last March 27, 2022 while my mom arrived last October 19. Happy to have them both for Thanksgiving this year. Now we're processing my brother and niece's I-130.
