Can only speak for myself. I applied for N400 in June 2018 and still haven't heard anything other than my case was transferred to my local office last August. I did not receive the new extension letter as well. My extension letter expires today.

They normally do a combo interview for both I-751 & N400. So if they approve your I-751 interview, then you get to do that N400 interivew. If you pass the test, then your N400 will be approved.

I'm still waiting for my extension letter. Although I keep getting daily updates through e-mail (since last week) saying that they are still reviewing my case and there's no update at this time. I don't know if it's really transferred to my local office last August 9th or it's just one of those error. I'm just waiting. I have until the 25th of this month to decide whether I would get the i-551 stamp or not.

All we can do right now is keep an eye for this possible new policy. We'll do what we do best - we cope. I understand it's upsetting for others. You have this added to the things you worry about. Just take it easy and we'll take it one day at a time.
