This morning I went with my wife for her N-400 interview. We had a pending I-751, when she was called the officer met us at Door 1. I immediately told him we had a pending I-751. His reply is I know, I need to see what evidence you have brought and I may not need you. I told him we had brought all originals on the N-400 list, divorce decree, birth certificate , marriage certificate and brought continuing evidence for the I-751. He said you can be seated in the lobby, she will do just fine. 
  He was very friendly, my wife emerged 35 minutes later, she had a huge smile on her face. He approved the I-751 and the N-400 on the spot and he said she would get her 10 year green card and oath letter in the mail. 
    She said he did not look at any evidence she brought, but he did look through the mound of paperwork I sent with her I-751.
 She said he did not ask her anything about the I-751 and moved straight to the N-400 interview. She said he was super nice and made her feel better because she was so nervous.

I was transferred Texas, not Missouri. I filed for N-400 too already.

I am one of those transfers.... I just got an email today

I just got my GC in the mail today, I got approved on January 7'th . I am a WAC18052 filer, good luck to all those of you waiting ! Don't despair, your time is near !

Its been a long journey for you Congrats! I wouldn't worry about the online case status it may have not been updated!

I agree with Penguin_ie, if you do file now would be wise to gather more evidence to take with you to the interview. I know it's tuff to juggle work with time off and the cost of the expense to travel back and forth. You could have an engagement party on the next trip. I think we spent around 1500.00 with rings we bought in Vietnam. We had it at her sisters house with close family and friends. It wasn't anything fancy, everyone decorated and we wore traditional attire. Very simple but overall effective. If your concerned at least it will give you peace of mind knowing you've done what it takes to make it thru the consulate. Others here have made it thru with far less, but is that a chance your willing to take? It wasn't for me. Good luck to you both.

In some countries it would not matter, but the US embassy in Vietnam is big on engagement parties, as it is traditional there. As mentioned, it is not an automatic denial, but it could make a difference, especially with you having no evidence of meeting family, and only one visit. Are you planning anymore visits between now and the likely interview? A engagement party could be planned for then...

You need to stop telling people things as facts because you 'heard somewhere'. I am not ashamed of anything. I DO research and keep up. I posted links to show that I research and keep up with the instructions, laws, etc. You just post hearsay. You cannot research and find the RFEs within the last couple of years because there have not been any. Why did you post something talking about possible RFEs and not an actual RFE? You stop the nonsense. Post facts, not hearsay about something you read somewhere.
The person that went through the RFE thread and organized it even stated there had not been RFEs for original signatures. >

I can confirm that recent RFE's from the master list were for not including a letter of intent at all. None of the recent RFE's were for not having original signatures. People who recently responded on the master list I typed up sent Wet signatures to be safe, but I can confirm that no RECENT RFE's have been for non original signature.

We sent copies no originals.
