    In case anyone is following this inquiry, I wanted to report that USCIS accepted the resubmitted AOS package with the $750 and then scheduled the K2 for a biometrics appointment. Now we are just waiting . . .

    More good news. Yesterday my husband received his I-751 approval letter dated 1/14 and his green card today. No advance notice. Filed 10/10/17. EAC 18017xxxxx.

    Thank you very much KULto ATL. I was also able to find a recent discussion that addresses my last two questions about signatures of minor K2 applicants and whether the parent should list themselves as "preparer" (advice was not to fill out preparer section):
