  1. Same situation here, I recieved 2 RFE's at the beginning of the month and sent them both back promptly, I have still not recieved any sort of reciept from USCIS about them having them. After speaking to a service rep for USCIS she told me to wait 30 days and then ring them back concerning this, she also stated (after I asked about the processing dates) That all processing has stopped on the cases and will resume after the RFE has been decided. The processing will resume and the time frame will go back inot effect. So to me it sounds as if the 60-90 period that they changed it back to is stopped for the IMBRA, which means that I just lost a whole month for this since I still havent heard anything from them and it doesnt look like I will beofre August. Good luck everyone!

  2. Evergreen, the k-3 visa once approved is forwarded to the NVC where it doesnt spend as much time as the I-130. All te processing for the I-130 happens at the NVC. With the I-129f it is sent to NVC given a case number and then sent to the appropriate consulate abroad. From what I have gathered the only time the K-3 is held up at NVC is if there is a hit on the name, and it needs more security checks. Some embassies process faster than others. Hope I have gotten this all correct, if not someone else will be along to correct me and help you out more. Good luck with your journey.

  3. I answered no, I met my husband in a chat room and it just kinda went from there. I agree with Erik, to me a marriage broker is some sort of agency that is paid to arrange marriage's. I was also in the first batches to come thru and still nothing. I hope we all hear something soon! Good luck!

  4. Maybe that what he needs is positive reinforcment at this time asante and not your opinion of women. Just because you have apparently been "let down" doesnt mean that all women are like that. Its deffinatley not positive. And I for one havent let my man down, so I guess its not all women.

BTW Karen what a great wedding pic!!

  5. First off, so sorry to hear this Walt, I agree with what others said, dont give up and do take the risk of love again, it is sooooo worth it! One way of looking at a broken relationship (the way I looked at things) You have to love to learn, and at the end of the day, if it wasnt right, it only ended so you can move on to something more rewarding.

Second, Asante, this is a forum to support others going thru this visa process, and in this forum we make friends and lean on each other thru the goo times and bad, not probe for answers and bash the other sex, try to at least offer some sympathy instead of being so cold, he is going thru a tough time right now.

Best of luck for your future Walt, I hope things work out for you.

    GOD Bless

  6. Mrs Z, Simple told me that based on the date I was approved that I should ring the NVC and choose to speak to an operator instead of entering my reciept number, as every time I tried that, I was told that they didnt have it. As you were approved a few days before me, you should do the same, hopefully it will be good news for you as well. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

Good luck Shannon, hope all moves smoothly for you at NVC!

  7. OK OK so I know its only a little case number, but I am soooo happy. I have been checking on our petition since finding out we were approved, when I rang the NVC this morning I was told we have a case number!! It seems like the wheels of immigration have started moving again. YEAHHHHHHH!!!! Good luck and speedy journey to all!
