It means you need to have the 2013 tax return or tax transcript with you at interview. The extension was only good until October than you must file. We aren't in 2014 tax season yet.
Be sure to let the embassy know at interview your child's documents at held up at NVC (sometimes they can get documents) children usually of a certain age do not have to come in to be interviewed so hopefully you won't have to make another trip just for them.

AOS fee changed to N/A today December 13th!! First scan date: sept 24th.
Resent AOS: November 6th
Checklist date: December 5th (sent to supervisor review because of a minor mistake made on i864A. )
Called 4 times yesterday and there was no progress!!

I will be sure to post with updates on my case from now on. The most difficult to do is that first post i think ?. I am also given different scan dates when i call,10/24 and 10/27. I'm sticking to the first one cos it sounds better lol. Anyways, i'm glad i decided to start posting. Something a little therapeutic about doing so... cheers!

First post here... couldn't resist the urge to celebrate with everyone getting those CC. I have been waiting for my turn in silence and prayers. My scan date 10/24 and my heart is has been beating real fast since this morning. I hope I'll get to rejoice soon, but until then i'm celebrating your CCs with you. Case Complete! Last scan date was 30 Sep. CC date was 21st but we just called yesterday and found out.

Do you have expedite for consulate stage? I saw in another thread VJ member called to NVC after CC about expedite. And the representative replied that the consulate will call to applicant about date of interview.
We have had the expedite, so I wait for the call, too.

This should only apply IF you sent an "IRS extension form" to NVC instead of a "Tax return/transcript".

To distinguish multiple applicants on the same case. We had 01 to 06 appended to our case number. They got printed on the visa foils as well. You do ignore them when you pay the GC fee at ELIS.

I think you're supposed to put them into your carry-on(s).

PS: As for the luggage and as a woman, I can sort of relate to your wife 12 suitcases are still better than 18 I don't even want to think of packing my stuff. I am really curious how many pieces I'll have in the end
The "01" indicates the number of dependants for the case, but since it's just you without any children it counts as 1.

Not even then! The only thing you get back is the x-ray. Better ask for a copy from the doctor. I got from mine a copy of the vaccination record for my kids' school enrollments. I wonder if they do give back the medical results at POE.
By the way, I'm guessing I can pack our x-rays in the luggage as they're not needed for POE. Please, someone correct me if it's a bad idea.

My AOS fee just changed to N/A. Last checklist scan date is 10/2. IV and AOS scan dates are both July 22 (sent in one package). Do you guys think this could mean a CC? Now I have to wait till Monday to call.

Hi. We got checklisted for submitting i864 for our son. Checklist says to use the i864w since petitioner is a USC which is my husband. He filed i864 for me and i864w for my son then. My husband isnt a USC when our son was born. He got naturalized two months after son's birth.

I just wanna let you know that my AOS status has changed to N/A. Will try to call NVC right now to confirm. Last scan date is August 22.

This means that they are working on those and later dates. Also knowing that they are processing dates later than yours gives you a great reason to call and inquire about this, and maybe get them to move on your case quicker.
I feel like you are somehow blaming the person who got processed ahead of you, and I am saying that we should thank them for updating everybody and wish them the best.

Just wondering as your last scan date in your timeline shows Aug 29th. You said it was Sept 2nd. I am also an Aug 29th scan date.

Just wanted to say that as of 10/11/2014 I have case complete!! YAY!! Checked CEAC website on Saturday and AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A.
Tried calling NVC today but duh I was so excited waiting for Monday to come and forgot it's a holiday today!
My scan date is 8/22/14. It feels so good finally coming to the end of this visa process! It's my hubby's birthday today and what better present to get when I tell him the good news!!! See you all in the interview thread hopefully very soon.

Different countries, but when I got my visa I had a Swiss passport (birth nationality) and an Irish one.
My interview was in Ireland, so they put the visa in the Irish passport, but the visa gave my Nationality as Swiss. I was able to travel without issues.
I think you will be fine showing your Russian passport to the Russian authorities when you leave, but make sure you have the Ukraine passport ready as the airline rep may want to see it to verify you have the correct visa.

Hi. Were also surpised that my son needs i864w cos we send the i864 but got checklisted. On the checklist, they explain that my husband should file i864w since our son will benefit from the Child Citizenship Act of 2000. On his BC, husband was still a Filipino Citizen, he just naturalized a month after our son's birth. But then, on the factors, son is less than 18, petitioner is a naTuralized USC, and soon will be living in the US upon pursuing permanent residency, so I think he qualifies for the CCA of 2000.

Hi everyone!
We had our interview on Wednesday and it was approved!
My son and I went to the interview with him.
I was a little nervous especially when I saw how they tough they were with someone before us.
But it was very easy just basic questions:
Where did you meet? How long have you been married? Have you been to the us? Where will you live? Is your son a citizen?
We had a problem with our sponsors 2013 income being low and they were going to request us to provide another sponsor, but I was able to show them that our sponsor made plenty in previous years and their assets and the co changed her mind right away and approved us
I just wanted to post this so I could let everyone know some things that were kind of weird.
When we got to the embassy they told us to give them copies of our i864 and tax papers. Since I sent to nvc it wasn't supposed to be required, but I brought a huge binder of all papers just in case so it wasn't a problem. I also brought our sponsors previous years taxes and assets and those actually saved us from being sent away.. So pleeeeeease everyone even if nvc says the papers are not required, just be prepared for anything
