CheekyMonkeys154 got a reaction from TLSR2014 in Progress thread for TSC filers now between NVC and Interview Stage
Actually I do think about it, I think about it every time I complain about waiting 10 months and someone that waited 3 weeks starts complaining and everyone tells me I don't have a right to be angry about how everything has went down. The way the system is run is flawed and I should be able to complain when someone 6 months behind gets approval the same day. Is it his fault they put it ahead? Maybe not but he went on and on about how he hoped they hurried since she put the note on the case. I don't take problem with the individual necessarily so much as I do what happened. But Being told over and over again how we at TSC should suck it up and stop complaining is getting old is all I'm gonna say. -

Yes that means they have opened it to start working. It will go from there to ap then issued. I would say you'll have it in a week or two.

Understood. But quite frankly, I tend to think that people picking crops should be a little lower down on the list than people in war-torn or poverty countries and adoptions out of often terrible conditions. I also think that people that have been made to wait for an extremely long time should be thought of too. I don't like the implication that it's sort of just about money for the government and losses for companies/farmers who make money off of people not working in the best conditions or being paid a good wage. But.. I'll dive off the soapbox for now... it's a general frustrated with the system thing.

We had a work picnic last Friday (2 days before his interview) and I was telling everyone that it was finally over- that looking at the trends online we would have our visa between 7-10 days. I was so happy...I felt like I could breathe again. I literally came home- opened my iPad- and saw the headline. What is most baffling to me is how it is taking this long to correct a glitch! They have private and public sector people working on this issue around the clock and you can't fix it???? All the technological minds we have in this country and you can't fix a glitch?! The only thing I'm happy about is that the ineptitude and incompetence of this immigration system is being brought to light. As someone said on the department of state page- how is it that you all do not have a plan B? Especially because something similar happened last year! And they are grasping at straws right now trying to explain this to the public and are failing miserably.

I've told myself i have to stop reading about the delays, its only going to make me feel worse. Just focusing on Monday and my interview and getting approved (Which im sure i will get approved), then just the limbo wait from there. Theres very little me, or any of us can do. Just have to hope on Monday they listen to what i have coming up in July, and give me some hope.
Thats what i need more than anything right now, hope.

According to london embassy they are valid for a year
"Police Certificates for the United Kingdom: If you have resided in the United Kingdom for 6 months or more since the age of 16, you are required to obtain a police certificate from the ACPO Criminal Records Office (ACRO). Further information is available from their website at www.acro.police.uk.
Note: UK police certificates are valid for 12 months only. Failure to present all necessary and valid police certificates at the time of the interview will incur significant delays to your application. "
See http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/application_documents.html#008if it helps

Hi Lee, glad to see everything is ok. Thanks for the input. I think we are all stressed to the max with the waiting and not knowing. I just want a date so I can plan our wedding and family vacation because I keep putting it off and my daughter is getting impatient and wants to know when. Lol!

Very happy for you guys! He'll be there before you know it and you start your life together proper! Good luck and wish you much happiness.
And Lee if you see this, I found a post from the London embassy about the afternoon appointments and how they all will be and no morning ones for May or June. Remember we discussed how for some reason they were in the afternoon...

If it's the part I'm thinking of if they are counting already in the line above you don't count them again on the next one. You don't count anyone twice.
