    File the I130. USCIS and consulates deal with children that are not known about at the time of a father's immigration all the time. You did what you could at your interview, and in fact if you had come to VJ before your interview with a DS260 locked and new information, the advice would have been to inform the consulate officer of the change. Anyway, file your I130, you need to provide paternal proof, and you will be fine from that standpoint.

    OK, so as @appleblossom and I stated, you did what you could to notify them of the child. What is your future plan? Is the child with you right now?

    Debated posting this (kind of want to keep it secret ). Anyway, using the global entry app literally allowed myself and my work colleague to pass through CBP in minutes at Washington Dulles. For anyone familiar with Dulles, while riding on the arrival shuttle from a British Airways flight, we downloaded the app, signed up, and set our arrival information. When we reached the CBP arrival hall, it was packed, but we made our way to the GE App line which was empty, talked to an officer, and passed through. Now in our case we did not check any luggage (it was a quick trip), so we did not have to wait at the carousel, but the App is worth it especially at PoE's that tend to be busy.

    Trying to understand the question here. You had a change after the DS260 was locked, so you informed the CO of the child at the interview. Are you looking to petition the child now as an F2A?

    I agree with the attorney's recommendation. My now wife did not disclose that she knew me back when she applied for the second time for a B2. The CO, during the B2 interview, actually asked about me, so somehow the consulate knew, and my then girlfriend did acknowledge she knew me. She was rejected for the B2, but she was ultimately approved for a K1 about 6 months later (yes things moved faster back then). Not really sure this is material mis-representation, but it sounds like you have an attorney advising you, so they should know better. Good Luck!

    Look at the NTSB study on Northwest Flight 255 out of Detroit from back in 1987. If this was in fact the case, and as @LIBrty4all stated, the Boeing's do not have proper warnings, what have we learned?

    This is extremely a sad tale. I was on something like six flights within/entering/leaving India last week, and it is very common for these selfies by those on the flight. I saw so many folks taking selfies while boarding or after taking their seats it was amazing. I am sure there are other stories out there from this Air India flight. R.I.P. for this family and all the other souls on board this flight that did not survive.

    I was still trying to figure out what everything was all about. Were these folks against Charles becoming King of the UK/GB? I also heard there were some Canadians at these protests. Aren't they nominally ruled by a king?

    I will say that this has greatly impacted air traffic to and from India.

    More to show how ineffective the California Democrat leadership is I suppose. Another factor is of course lessons learned from the 2020 Summer of Love particularly in Portland. I have been out-of-touch for a week, but wasn't the NG deployed to protect federal property in LA? I remember a federal building in Portlandia being overtaken, or severely damaged.

    My memory is still good. This same question came up recently.

    I disagree. The I485 form is pretty clear that step-children are to be listed and does not distinguish between step-children from a previous relationship vs step-children from the marriage that forms the basis for this I485. I know, it seems redundant as the USC would have counted those children on the I129F and I134 (I864 eventually), but the I485 is a form for the beneficiary, and when they got married, they became a step-parent. To the OP, I would list them. Good Luck!

    Should be thorough, most of it will probably be ignored, but better to be complete, then be asked about it if that makes sense. Also, if providing official tax transcripts, do not include W2's (this information is in the IRS transcript) as that seems to confuse USCIS.

    Might be some scrutiny, but timelines do not seem to indicate you are providing a path just for immigration purposes. Make sure you have all your relevant relationship dates in order (i.e. when 1st marriage started to go under, when 1st wife naturalized, when next relationship started, etc.). Good Luck!

    Certainly seems like this could draw some scrutiny from USCIS/consulate. The fact that your most recent marriage lasted over 10 yrs may alleviate some of that. How long after she naturalized did you separate? Good Luck!

    Just returned from India. It was kind of surreal to be at the airport (Chennai, and Mumbai) the day after this happened. I was flying Indigo Air, and our flight from Chennai to Mumbai was delayed a little more than 3 hrs due to a sick pilot. This caused us to miss our connection to Paris, and eventually Detroit. Indigo Air and Air France customer service in India was horrible, finally worked through our travel agent to fly through London. Got to ride in my first 380.

    Ok, my view of driving in India. Been to a lot of countries, and so far India takes it as far as driving. Lane markings are just a suggestion, no such thing as a no passing zone on a two lane roadway, shoulders are meant to be used, horns are used extensively (not in aggression apparently), and turn signals are optional. All that and they drive on the wrong side of the road! 😂😂😂 Eye opening, and of course anecdotal as I have not been anywhere in Africa yet.

    Generally, this is the case for those traveling in this situation. When my wife was in the same situation, she could no longer use the POE kiosks, but had to go directly to a CBP officer. I expect your spouse will need to do the same even at a pre-clearance airport. Good Luck!

    Why would anyone want a bicycle to be insanely fast? Btw, any bicycle with a motor (electric or gas powered) and pedals is in fact a moped. Sure, you can get these sans pedals, then they would just be a motorcycle where the motor is electric. No differences, still just a means of transportation with different pros and cons.
