You are running through the Detroit USCIS office correct? Don’t worry about the name change, Detroit only does judicial oaths, so a name change does not delay anything. My cousins applied in late November 2023 with a family name change, and had their oaths on February 22, 2024, so Detroit is fairly fast. Good Luck!

Should not be an issue. My wife changed her name when we married, but her Russian passport still has her own name, and she never has any issues. Also, my cousins recently naturalized with a name change, but will not change their Russian passports. Just keep a copy of your Nat. certificate when traveling to Venezuela in case anyone questions the difference. Good Luck!

Interesting study. I have never used CBP products, and I guess I won’t try them. Comprehensive Review Indicates No Pain Relief from CBD Products, Reveals Study His team’s examination of 16 clinical trials from 2020 to 2023, involving 917 participants and testing various CBD dosages and application methods, revealed that CBD was no more effective than a placebo, save for one small study with thumb arthritis patients. Furthermore, the researchers alert consumers about the mislabeling of CBD content in products accessible to the public, which may contain untested compounds and synthetic chemicals. A 2022 study highlighted that only a fraction of the tested CBD products were correctly labeled. The researchers’ concern extends to those seeking pain relief, as chronic pain afflicts a considerable portion of the population in the US and the UK, making unsubstantiated claims about CBD particularly harmful. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/comprehensive-review-indicates-no-pain-relief-from-cbd-products-reveals-study/ar-BB1kSpYW#:~:text=A comprehensive review provides substantial evidence that cannabidiol,Canada suggests that these claims lack scientific support.

Daily update on Biden tanking america

One heartbeat away, and utterly cleuless. Kamala Harris couldn’t have been more wrong about Women’s March Madness bracket fact “Do you know — OK, a bit of a history lesson — do you know that the women’s teams were not allowed to have brackets until 2022?” Harris said in an interview with Spectrum News in North Carolina at a clean energy event. “Think about that, and talk about progress, ya know, better late than never but progress. “We love March Madness, and even just now allowing the women to have brackets and what that does to encourage people to talk more about the women’s teams, to watch them, now they’re being covered. This is the reality. People used to say, ‘Women’s sports, who’s interested?’ Well if you can’t see it, you won’t be. But when you see it, you realize, ‘Oh, we’re talking about star athletes who are incredibly gifted … It’s nice we are finally giving women in sports that kind of platform. I find it so exciting.'” Kamala Harris says that the NCAA women’s basketball tournament was not allowed to have brackets until 2022. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/kamala-harris-couldn-t-have-been-more-wrong-about-women-s-march-madness-bracket-fact/ar-BB1l8ls3 -
Is everyone in the Biden Administration clueless? Who was claiming they would have their landlines taken from their cold dead hands? In fact, I think people can still get a landline if they want. Also, of course the implication is that EV's are somehow more technologically advanced...How? Buttigieg rejects critics of EV future: Like people in 2000s saying we could have landlines forever https://www.foxnews.com/media/buttigieg-rejects-critics-ev-future-people-2000s-saying-we-could-have-landlines-forever

Interesting study. If Dr's do not disclose the potential risks of irreversible affirming care, doesn't this go against their oath? I found this just a bit troubling. Believe data, not activists: Transgenderism among kids is mostly a fad This is fully at odds with the policy pushing its way through American schools and medical institutions: Kids who declare themselves transgender, no matter the age, need to be “affirmed,” an idea that sometimes leads to children taking hormone blockers or getting surgery to attempt gender transition. These interventions can have lifelong consequences, but some doctors aren’t even sure if the child should be informed before they take action. Leaked documents last month from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health found some doctors don’t think disclosing potential risks is necessary. https://nypost.com/2024/04/04/opinion/believe-data-not-activists-transgenderism-among-kids-is-mostly-a-fad/

I tend to agree with them. Diversity doesn't always lead to better performance, rather performers tend to perform regardless of diversity. It is interesting that McKinsey would not provide any background of their conclusions for peer review. Do Diverse Companies Produce Better Earnings? These Academics Say No. Dame Vivian Hunt, McKinsey’s managing partner in the UK and Ireland at the time and a coauthor on all four of McKinsey’s studies, crystalizes McKinsey’s view that greater racial/ethnic diversity in a firm’s executive team drives better firm financial performance: “What our data shows is that companies that have more diverse leadership teams are more successful. And so the leading companies in our datasets are pursuing diversity because it’s a business imperative and driving real business results” ...the goal of our paper is to revisit McKinsey’s results by means of a quasi-replication. We do so by applying McKinsey’s empirical testing approach to those firms that were in the S&P 500® Index on 12/31/19. We choose 12/31/19 so as to keep our quasi replication within the same pre-covid time window as McKinsey’s 2015, 2018, and 2020 studies. We focus on the large public US companies in the S&P 500® for two reasons. First, McKinsey would not provide us with their detailed datasets, nor the names of the firms in their datasets, so we were unable to directly replicate or investigate their analyses... In contrast to McKinsey’s results, the key finding of our study is that we observe no statistically significant difference between the likelihood of financial outperformance as measured by the industry-adjusted EBIT margin of S&P 500® firms during the years 2015–2019 in the top vs. bottom quartiles of S&P 500® firms ranked on McKinsey’s executive racial/ethnic diversity metric measured in mid-2020.Instead, we find that 54.0 percent of S&P500® firms in the top executive race/ethnicity-ranked quartile have a positive industry-adjusted EBIT margin vs. 51.2 percent in the bottom quartile, with the z-statistic on the difference of 2.8 percent being a not statistically significant 0.5 (p-value = 0.65). In conclusion, our results indicate that despite the imprimatur often given to McKinsey’s 2015, 2018, 2020, and 2023 studies, McKinsey’s studies neither conceptually (in terms of the correct direction of causality) nor empirically (in terms of their set of large US public firms) support the argument that large US public firms can expect on average to deliver improved financial performance if they increase the racial/ethnic diversity of their executives. https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2024/04/04/do-diverse-companies-produce-better-earnings-these-academics-say-no-n3785938

N-400 interview with I-751 pending

I130 bonafide evidence
Dashinka replied to yuyul's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Yes, but you can create joint bank accounts, wills and living wills, I assume there will be visits, you can be added as a beneficiary to your spouse's benefits (insurance, 401k, etc.). Essentially what I am talking about is your marriage growth even though you will be mostly apart through the CR1/IR1 process. Good Luck! -
I130 bonafide evidence
Dashinka replied to yuyul's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
This should be sufficient to file the I130. You will have a year or more to further comingle your marriage which will lead to more proof at the NVC and consulate stage. Good Luck! -
This sounds like a very comprehensive list. I would not worry about text/chat history for the petition, but you may want to keep them handy for the eventual interview. Honestly I think the fact that you have been living together for the past 6-7 years since marriage will be the biggest proof of your wedded relationship. You will also need to put together the package to show your plans to repatriate back to the US, but you won't need that for the petition (I130), but rather at the consulate phase. Good Luck!

This is why CBP lists many various means of LPRs to prove their LPR status. The card itself is merely proof of your status whether it be a 10yr, 2yr, expired with an extension letter, or ADIT stamp. If your extension letter is still valid, it is just as valid proof of your LPR status as a valid unexpired GC. Also, you are arriving at a land crossing, much less busy than an airport, and you don't have to deal with educating airline employees of what constitutes valid proof of LPR status. Good Luck!
