Look at passport form DS11, https://eforms.state.gov/Forms/ds11.pdf  the second page has instructions in the box at the top of what to provide as proof for someone born outside the US who naturalized through a parent. That is the documentation you need:

If you claim citizenship through naturalization of parent(s): Submit the Certificate(s) of Naturalization of your parent(s), your foreign birth certificate (and official translation if the document is not in English), proof of your admission to the United States for permanent residence, and your parents' marriage/certificate and/or evidence that you were in the legal and physical custody of your U.S. citizen parent, if applicable.

I am of course assuming he was under 18 when your wife became a citizen.
A US passport is acceptable proof of citizenship for anything you need it for.

Thank you all for your response and sorry for our late response, I am the husband, and I have already sent in my application for Naturalization (N-400). Our son is living with us, and he is a Green Card holder as well, and we understand that he will be automatically Naturalized when I am.  However, we need to get him a US passport, and I know we need some proof for his Citizenship in order to get his US passport. I know that I can apply for N-600 (Application for Certificate of Citizenship), but this is very overpriced, so we were hoping that we did not have to apply for this and instead use a different proof of his citizenship to get his passport.  I think you guys covered it, so thank you very much!

My wife had her interview yesterday.  She's normally laid back and nonchalant about these type of things but she actually studied really hard for this and was pretty nervous.  So we get there and we get a number (like at a deli).  Not too much time goes by and a guy comes out and calls my wife by her last name (everyone else has been called by their #).  So he asks for both of us....we go back to the office and he says to me to sit on the chair closest to the door because he says you wont be staying long.  So then he says, you have 2 open cases....to remove your restriction for 10 year GC and N400.  So he says we are going to try to knock both out today.  I thought this was weird becuz if you become a citizen then whats the point about removing conditions?? I guess had she failed the N400 interview.  Anyway he asked for things like joint bank acct and/or other printed materials that had our names together....We totally hadn't prepared for that.  Fortunately I was able to pull up our geico insurance cards on my phone.  He said that will do it.  By the way he pulled out "our file" and it literally had every document we had ever sent USCIS.  Like all the way back from when we first filed for K1.  So he asks me to leave and my wife has her interview.  They asked her - Name a state the touches Canada, what war was in 1803, what year was the constitution written, what ocean is east of the US and 2 other fairly easy questions.  My wife said he was very nice and wasn't grilling for the answers.  He was like a friendly teacher who wanted to see her pass....if that makes sense.  He definitely didn't tell her the answers becuz she knew them, but she said like the Atlantic ocean question, he said, you know it's the ocean that's right here in Jacksonville. Then they asked the typical, have you recruited girls for prostitution, have you been a terrorist, are you of foreign nobility, etc.  Of course she answered truthfully no.  And that was it....maybe 15 minutes and he said a letter should come in a week or 2 regarding the swearing in ceremony.  My wife is due (pregnant) Feb 23rd, so he told her if she can't make it then she can just send something in, that it will be in the letter.  Hope that gives everyone here some insight....And hopefully we are done with visa journey and the uscis.  Thanks for all the help on here over the years!!  Some of you have given me tremendous advice.  I never paid a lawyer and did everything myself....so again THANK YOU!!!

Huge congratulations to you and your wife and thanks so much for posting the details. That's so helpful. Looks like you guys sat a combi interview, where the 10 year Green Card application needs to be approved before the citizenship test can go ahead. She may never get the physical GC as there's no need now that's she's a bona fide citizen. 🎈🎉🍾

And congratulations on the impending arrival of your little one. 👶

Well....we got an email Friday and had an issue logging into our account....but today we were able to get in to our account and WE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!!  January 14th, 2019 in the city in which we live....Jacksonville, FL!

To the people who haven't heard yet.....our case said 12 months but we filed Oct. 23rd and our interview appt is less than 90 days later...so keep your head up, it will probably go faster than it says on your USCIS account.

Ha! You spousal visa people have it so easy! We filed F3 family based petition in (and with priority date) Dec 2008. Yup, nearly ten years ago. We got selected for DV lottery May 2012, DV visa interview June 2013, landed Dec 2013. If we hadn’t been selected in the lottery we wouldnt even have landed yet, we would STILL be waiting for our priority date to become current - F3 is currently at July 2006 so probably would still have another 3 years to go! So yeah you guys that come in on K1/C1/IR1 actually have it really easy both till interview and the shorter time to naturalize!

When did we first meet in person?
    What does your fiance do??
Are you married? Have you been married before?
Does your fiance have any other kids?
It was only a few minutes....basically it was very easy compared to the rest of the process. As nervous as we were there is almost nothing to be nervous about if you are well prepared.

So devastating! I think its so wrong to let people spend all this money, go through this lengthy, stressful process, and then deny them without any information or reason. I love how US citizens try to do things the legal and right way and get treated like dirt. How do you know what to fix and better prepare for the next time if you don't even know the reason you were denied?! I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can find some answers and find a way to be together!
