  1. Anything today? Hopefully you have some good news to share Thoughts and prayers
  2. At least you have some contact with the process and you get updates. We are completely in the dark about our case, and we hope for positive news every day of the week. The Consulate Generale in Casablanca is not even answering emails nor do they answer phone calls The case status shows Ready, even after the interview
  3. Please keep us posted Any good news around here gives us hope
  4. Just try to relax and stay positive This process is very stressful and very painful.
  5. They would've said they don't know how long AP will take rather than asking him to come back tomorrow. I think it is a positive sign, that's just me, I think I am optimistic in the way I look at things 🙂
  6. we have been in the same situation and we are kept in the dark since the 23rd of May with no updates at all. The case status says ready, interview was on 17-May-2022 in Casablanca
  7. it will be good since they told him to come back tomorrow to pick up his passport. You should be happy they didn't give him a BS answer and send him away until they contact him. I think it is good news actually
  8. Tell them that blood work is required for all applicants and that your husband needs one done. Unless they show you a Consulate document that states it is not required. A friend of mine (45 years old) was required to do one before his interview two months ago (DV lottery winner). So, I think it is required and not doing it might cause unwanted delays
  9. It will change when the visa is printed. Most likely this morning. Who knows?
  10. it will change soon. If he is picking up at the consulate, it is easier and it will be ready shortly after they print it
  11. The change means the document was added to your file and the case is ready for review by a Consular Officer (there is actually no time frame for that), but hopefully it will not take that long. We are in the same boat, our case shows Ready, my wife had her interview more than a month ago and she was asked to provide additional documents. The date was updated to date when they received the documents (23-May-2022) with a status of Ready. No further action since then and we are still waiting (They kept my wife's passport)
  12. Ot will. Hangs to issued Monday and your passport will be ready to be picked up by Wednesday. congratulations.
  13. This is an automated response and not specific to your case. It just says that they received the inquiry.
  14. This is a Green Card production fee. Normal for this process
  15. Just make sure you uploaded ALL the required documents (and any additional documents you have). Once you do that, you don't need to mail any documents to NVC. You will be asked (the applicant) to submit all the original documents at the interview
  16. Good morning all, It has been a month now (30 days) since the Consulate Generale received the requested documents after the interview. They still have my wife's passport. We haven't heard anything nor did we get any updates. The last time the case was updated was 23-May-2022 (the day they received the requested documents). So far, no news is good news, but the waiting game is really hard at this point.
  17. What was the 221G for? what did they ask for? did you submit the requested evidence right away? how long after the interview did you submit the requested evidence? The forum needs more info to try to provide some advise
  18. According to this (NVC website), it could take up to 60 days (This picture is specific to Casablanca, Morocco😞https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CSB-Casablanca.html
  19. According to this (NVC website), it could take up to 60 days (This is specific to Casablanca, Morocco I guess): https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CSB-Casablanca.html But you can do the same search for other consulates for sure
  20. you don't need to add the interview date and time. Once the case is transferred to Casablanca, it gets added automatically to a "database". You just need to register the case number. ustraveldocs will not recognize your case number until it is received in Casablanca
  21. So, at the interview, everything went well but the CO asked for a copy of the petitioner's previous marriage certificate, a document that is not listed anywhere as required. The visa was refused, pending receipt of that document (and translation). Status on the CEAC website still shows Ready. The date of the last update was updated to reflect the date they received the requested documents. From another member's recent case, it takes about 4 to 5 weeks to process. We are on the third week so far and are waiting for updates. Hoping it will not take longer than that
  22. Good luck to all. NVC is catching up and the review time is shrinking
