  1. Dear Sir,

My wife is a Thai citizen whom I'm sponsoring for a marriage green card. She recently got the NVC "documentarily qualified" on 10/3/22, and we were wondering how long will it take to get an interview in Bangkok.

Do you mind sharing your dates for 1) Documentarily Qualified 2) received your interview letter 2)  actual interview? This is for US Embassy in Bangkok.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Sincerely,

    Julian

  2. My wife arrived on May 2nd with her visa. The social security card came within 2 weeks. I paid the green card fee also in May, but have heard nothing more from them. I sent a message through the USCIS website in August. I got a reply September 14 saying we got your message, please wait for a reply, without sending a new message. Now when I try to login to the website, it says it sent a code to my phone, but it doesn't arrive. Have tried a few times.
  3. My wife has received an I-797C form which was sent on June 1. The form states that the USCIS has received her immigrant visa packet, but can not process it until the fee of $220 is paid. Seems straightforward until you consider: 1. I paid a $325 IV Fee through the NVC website in February. This was required before an interview could be scheduled. 2. She had her embassy interview in early April. 3. She received her visa in late April. 4. She arrived in the US on May 3. 5. She received her SS card on May 20. She hasn't received the green card yet. I have sent a message to USCIS, but wondering if anyone here knows what/why/how. Oh and to add to the confusion, the form is addresses to my wife, c/o my mother, at the address I live at in Oregon. My mother does not live in Oregon.
