  1. Firstly, if her reason is that "You're coming to the US too soon" after you guys have waited for 3 years (as claimed by you), then she's probably with someone else over there! You need a good lawyer. Also, I'd advise you to travel to the US as sooner as possible before she blocks the move. If the fault is indeed from her and with the amount of time you've waited, then you traveling to the US should not be regarded as "an advantage" as seen from some other comments here.
  2. Yes! I got my visa issued and delivered after almost 9 working days. I'm sorry, I've been busy. Thanks!
  3. Mine changed from "Refused" to "Ready" (That I'm ready for an interview) lol I just had one last week. The embassy keeps saying they received my document and that my case was sent to the consular for review and visa issuance. My friend that we left Ukraine together literally had his interview on Tuesday and his visa was up for collection yesterday. It's really stressful!
  4. It's the same Police Certificate. You can get the certificate online now. It takes just a few minutes to receive it. https://vytiah.mvs.gov.ua/app/landing
  5. Ohhh I was actually asked to upload mine online. Probably because our case was transferred from Kyiv to Frankfurt due to the war.
  6. I apologize on their behalf! You can contact the embassy and the delivery company.
  7. Hi fam! I recently had my Cr1 visa interview in Frankfurt and I was asked by the consular to provide a document and promised a visa would be issued after this. I did this and I checked the status of my application, it was initially displaying "Refused" for about 3 working days after submitting the required document, just today, it changed to "Ready" and asks me to prepare for my interview as though I never did one. I'm enquiring what this might imply and when likely they'd issue a visa and send my documents. Thanks!
  8. The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in FRANKFURT, GER approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your immigrant visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in FRANKFURT, GER for their action. The Embassy/Consulate General will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview Received that on the 29th of April.
  9. We expedited our case on the ground of the experiences I had in Ukraine. Our case was sent to the Embassy in Frankfurt last week.
  10. Hi guys. Our CR-1 case was transfered from Kyiv, Ukraine to Frankfurt, Germany. We recently got the case expedited on a ground of the war in Ukraine and the case has been sent to the embassy. But unfortunately, I'm back in Nigeria. My question 1. Will I be able to pick a date ASAP provided I transfer to Nigeria? 2. Do you have any idea which Schengen country can give me a visa in time? (I learnt that there are no appointment dates in Nigeria for German tourist visa at the moment)

  12. Thank you so much for caring. Do you think with a priority date of May 28, 2021, I can stand a chance to have an appointment in Nigeria this year? It's so hard for me and my wife. She's in the US and currently busy with her PhD.
  13. Thank you for your response. I actually got our case expedited due to the war in Ukraine. The case was sent to the Embassy in Frankfurt for appointment. Do you think the same expedite can work if I transfer to Nigeria? (Nigeria is currently so backlogged)
  14. Hi everyone. Please is the current processing time in Nigeria encouraging? My Priority date (CR-1) is 28th of May 2021 and I'm considering transferring my case to Lagos as I may not be able to get Germany tourist visa to go for my interview. Thank you in advance for your advice.
  15. Hi everyone. I recently left Ukraine through Romania and I'm back in my home country (Nigeria). Unfortunately, due to Russian invasion, our Cr1 case was moved from Kyiv to Frankfurt, Germany. Our case is currently complete and waiting to receive a response concerning interview from the US Embassy in Frankfurt. • Getting a Visa to Germany from Nigeria is currently difficult as there are no available dates for interview. • Transferring the case to Nigeria is not a good choice as there aren't available dates until 2024 • I'm enquiring if it is possible I transfer the case to Ghana where I can travel to Visa-free. My only doubt is if I can attend an interview there or any other Visa-free country in Africa without being a resident. • I'm confused as to what to do and I need your advice here. Thank you!
