Im a filipina...me and my husband mer in kuwait dated for one month yhen my contract finished and I didnt renew it so I went home in the philippines. We continued chatting..I never ask money from him. Never. He decided to visit me in the philippines .. I booked a hotel in Boracay..a flight in cebu pacific for a three day vacation with my own money. He visited and we decided to get married. We live in kuwait together..still not asking money from him. He will juat give me money if I need to go to the store and buy groceries. Sometimes its a problem to me because im not working anymore and I also have things I need to buy . One time we talked..he told me he will be in control of giving me monet because of what he heard in other americans having a filipina wife...they asked too much that even the neighbor is sick and ask money for it. His contract in kuwait ended and we had just file our visa that time..worst thing happened I went back to philippines and he went home to US. He need to find a job for our visa application. Yes until now he's in control of giving me money..500usd a month with a 2 year old son. My husband is sweet caring . He just heard a lot of stories about filipina asking too much money. I didnt ask for money even the 500usd is not enough for me and my son. I want to prove that im not yhe "typical filipina" as what other american say. We both love each other I know that...I just need to earn his trust and erased what is being told to him by his fellow americans in kuwait. I am a nurse

My hubby sent our aos june 29 unluckily we are still waiting for our iv invoice. Our ds261 was completed july 7.my hubby keeps on calling nvc but he hot the same reply everyday.they are flooded with the approved cases from uscis.

Im afraid it will take 60 days to appear the iv bill after you filled up ds261. Nvc started sending email last month apologizing for 60 days before they will review the papers after they received it. I am done with my ds261 last july 7 until now iv bill still not appearing. But I saw some applicants filled ip their ds261 july 10 and iv bill appeared last week. So im hoping my iv bill this week. Ctosdibg my fingers.

we had completed our ds 261 last july so does it mean ill expect iv invoice this coming week. Gosh im losing hope with this journey.

My DS-261 was received on July 10th, and I got my IV invoice on August 15th, so don't panic just yet! It may show up in the upcoming days. Just start preparing your IV package, if you haven't already.

Based on other people's timelines it's been taking 30-60 days to get a case complete after everything has been submitted...

You have the same case with my friend's second husband but her second husband and ex wife got divorced in Canada. What you need to do to make everything clean is to bring your divorce paper in the philippines ..hire an attorney..and to null your marriage at NSO. NO need for annulment process since you have the divorce papers. I think its faster processing that annulment. Its better to clear everything here before doing the process. Since you plan to waiy for your Citizenship.

its been more than 30 business days since we filed for our ds 261. im hopeless with this journey. since USCIS processing its backlog, now in NVC backlog again. its been 1 year and 2 months now since we started this journey. im missing my husband...and my son had his second birthday without his dad.

I submit the marriage certificate with annotation at USCIS but they didnt recognize that..we received RFE..they want the CEMAR. and as I di my research here..US Embassy is asking fir a CEMAR for the beneficiaries who had past marriage and a CENOMAR for single. Call US embassy to make sure

Me and my husband started our visa journey july 2013..its been a year now and were still at NVC. My husband missed my son's first two birthdays. I hope on december were finally with each other. I cant play with this WAITING game.

There is an application for you to keep her GC. She can be out of the US gor two years..then before it expire she need to get back then renew if she still doesnt want to stay there...you should keep ger GC so you still have an option in case something happened and you need to ho back in US.

Did she received a decision from the court when she filed annulment? Because annulment will not automatically appear at NSO. After you received the decision you need to bring that to the municipal hall where the wife is living and another in municipal hall where the husband's town is.then the papers from two municipal hall will be brought to the nso so the marriage of two parties will ne null and void.

Anyway if she received a decision from the court with the signature of the judge I think you can present that at Embassy

In addition. .my credential evaluation result was being forwarded already in south carolina from CGFNS. My hubby called them to ask if they received it..and they did and they can keep it for one year.

Different state has different requirements in taking up NCLEX. My hubby is from South Carolina..I googled what eill ne the requirements...one of the requirement I finished already is the Credential Evaluation Service done by CGFNS. Google it.

My husband didnt fill up the ds261 right from the start it appeared together with the aos bill..he thought he dont need to fill it up..I thought he knew about ds261 is important. One month we had waited for the iv bill to be issued..he already paid aos, aos package already sent...until I asked him if he did filled up ds261 and he replied "what ds261?". My husband is so busy at work. And we dont hire atty. I keep on reading everyday here at visa journey. So now...after he filled up the ds261 july 7 Its like ill start counting the days until forever. Im losing hope. OUR CASE STARTED JULY 2013. Our case reached NVC last April this year. I guess I still need 5 months more for the case to complete... waiting is the game I cant stand..

Why they are taking this long to issue iv fee...its like were close yet so far.

I am reviewing my petition. We both indicated we are single. I did not write anything on previous spouses. We both input 'none' for both current and former spouses on our G-325A.

Is it possible they think I married the beneficiary from my first K1 petition?

I called USCIS and they suggested to make an appointment with the local USCIS offices but unfortunately the website says that there are no appointments available.

Only other option is to get an attorney.

I think NSO has a website that you can do the online application anf send it to you in US...the payment is using your credit card. Certification of no marriage is the only paper that can prove that you were never been married

Maybe just go on with the interview and tell the consule that she lost it. If she got approve just tell them passport to follow. Its better to secure new passport..it will take 25 days for express..but if she has a guts to talk to the DFA personel to give her excemption to do it asap, theres no harm in trying.goodluck. I sent my original documents to my husband in US for NVC. Its better if you will receive it first to make sure documents reach US . Then my hubby will send it to NVC.well thats pretty sure it will reach MVC by then. I sent it through LBC and it cost 1500PHP..the documents artived in US after 5 days. Actually I prefer DHL or FEDEX but thet dont have office here in our province. But in fairness LBC I cheaper and 5 days is not bad.
