At the interview, the consular officer said we were complete except that they needed us to submit another NBI clearance, this time with A.K.A. names from her previous marriages. So we got a 221g. We sent the new NBI, 1 day later the date on CEAC updated. This was a week ago. The status still says for us to read the 221g letter. So most likely they haven't even looked at what we sent them...

may i know whos the beneficiary on her annulment? did she undergo Personal Evaluation? coz i read about a girl name Annalyn here in visajourney who undergone Personal evaluation because shes the beneficiary of her annulment ( shes the psychological incapacity like mine) and she was also put in AP after her interview and also was asked for her NBI with AKA. status date update never change for 2 months. after 60 days case status went to READY, the nest day back to AP again then ISSUED.

im just asking if your wife is the beneficiary because i think thats the pattern. i just hope because im on my 60 days. lol

Now i finally found the same case as mine....STATUS UPDATE DATE NEVER CHANGE after they received the document they had asked. im so worried they misplace my file lol

im on the same boat as you..interview last april 13...CO told me everything are fine they will just wait for my medical.they didnt gave any 221g paper (i undergone Personal Evaluation because of my annuled marriage from my first husband so SLEC will be the one to forward my medical result) after my interview my CEAC status became AP...i called SLEC april 14 they told me they forwarded my medical yesterday..same day of my interview. since then up to now my status is under AP..status update date never change. and also ustraveldocs after my interview says passport inside embassy ..well something like that..then after three days it came to "document delivery information". i called and they also put my case escalated..that was a month ago. until now no update...66 days waiting

please update us when anything goodnews happened at your side.

Why would they want anything from your boyfriend? Makes zero sense to me

because her boyfriend is the co sponsor and USEM want a I864a instead of I864 they submitted. does it makes a sense now?

as far as I know I864a if a co sponsor is a family member that you are living with in one house.

I864 when our co sponsor is a relative,family member, friend or boyfriend or anyone not living with you in one house.

i think the website is not updated. i have a friend in cr1 visa called nvc..they told her file is being sent at USEM last friday but her status in CEAC is still AT NVC up to now.

sometimes man needs to be alone inside his cave...to give him time to think.we suppose not to tell or convince them that we are the right person for them...give him the time and space he need to miss you. the more we insist ourselves to them the more they want to be away from us.

if one day he send you message that he misses you then thats the assurance you have him back...in his own decision.

So that means K1 & K2's are affected.

i just called USEM the guy i talked to told me...the June 9 issue is only applicable for fiance visa.

As bad as I hate to say this, they should stop interviews and medicals, until the system can "flow smoothly" again.

yes it was change . we got interviewd last March 3,2015 and I understand bacause we did not bring the affidavit of support which has an original signature by our petioner. it was not delivered yet. they change the date after they got all the documents that are stated at 221g.

so I hope it will change. me too am so worried. what they say when you called them? or did they reply your email?

i called and emailed them the first two weeks..all i got is the same answer..."in process" so i got tired and stop bugging them. it is what it is. i guess all i need is to wait till i receive text message from 2go. i dont even check my status at CEAC.

You will be asked to show proof of onward travel or return ticket from Kuwait by the NAIA immigration officer. Since your onward ticket from Kuwait is to the USA, the immigration officer at NAIA will look for your US visa.

Once the immigration officer at NAIA sees you have a US immigrant visa or fiance visa on your passport, he or she won't allow you to leave without the CFO stamp and certificate.

Chinook and I had a similar question to your question. When Chinook received her K-1 visa, she considered visiting the U.K. before coming to the U.S.

We found out it would have been no problem for her to do so. However, she decided to come straight to the U.S.

Does Kuwait require you to have a visa to enter the country? That would be the only concern I see.

and yes about the kuwait visit visa..its just a one day process for my husband at immigration office in kuwait. then he will just send it to me thru email. and at the day of my arrival in kuwait he will give the original copy of my visit visa in a special counter at the airport which i will secure before going to immigration officer. weve fone this before. thank you again.

Why is that even a question then? US does not authorize or sanction you buying an airline ticket.

Why would US care if you stayed in Kuwait, Davao, Manila, Cebu, Singapore, etc before you come to the USA?

Philippines Citizens are not allowed to enter most countries in the world without a visa. They have different rules from American Passport holders.

OP you need to check and see if how or if you need to obtain a visa to enter Kuwait.....

my only question is about entering in US after staying in Kuwait. my husband and I stayed in Kuwait for two years before so we know what to do about entering kuwait. we've done tourist visa before and even residence visa in kuwait before. thank you

Absolutely fine, the US doesn't care how you get to the USA or where you stop over as long as you enter by the visa expiry date.
