Receiving NOA1 hard copy doesnt mean your papers are ok. They just received it and still not opening.

Now i feel sad. Me and myhusband lived togrther in Kuwait for two years until finally we decided to move to US. We applied for spousal visa last june 2013. Worst thing happened he went back to US from Kuwait while me and our son went back to Philippines, how sad thst this girl have a spousal visa on her hand but the marriage was over. But for people like me here waiting for months for our visa to be with our husband is still here hsnging,hoping, praying.

i can not give you an advice, we dont know the real story behind, the story could be , oh i gotmy VISA, i dont need you anymore...because the truth is. No man can be as angry as that without any reason

You can have a seminar without your passportbut you need to come back when you received your passport because they will put sticker on it. Better if you just wait to have your passport with you so you dont need to come back. But there is cfo office inside the airport, they told me you can get the sticker there just show the receipt. Pero mas mganda mging sure n din, just wait for your passpport. Kalahating araw lang naman un.

We are in the same situation, in my I 130 application i used my maiden name, then after the application i changed my marital status and changed my name on my passport, which i used my married name. My husband asked USCIS about that, they told him you will change your name during NVC processing. When they ask you all the original documents thats the time we will submit a paper ( for me a copy of my new passport) that we used now our married name. Hope this will help

As simple as this..how come they were asking for more proof of a true marriage, well in fact going through with all this waiting, so deppressing, is a sign of true love and genuine marriage. 9 months had passed since we started this visa journey, our case is still in USCIS. I started loosing hope.

Send your wife to manila to do the application because passport would take 4 weeks maximum. But first google what are the documents needed,a proof that the child is yours.

Finally we received the rfe hard copy last week of Feb. The first copy was sent to usDecember but they had sent it in a wrong address. Wehad sent the documents they had adked in RFE March 5, they emailed us that they received it March 13. I hope and pray for positive responce before the end of this month. For the meantime i applied as a dialysis nurse trainee in one of the hospital here in our place, to divert my attention.

im feeling more pressured and deppressed coz all filipinas was already approved month of november and december because of typhoon yolanda. But i was left behind because of this RFE hard copy we still didnt received until USCIS admit their fault. May i just ask if what does EXPEDITE SERVICE REQUEST means? The officer in yhe USCIS main office told to my hubbu that he will send expedite service request to CSC where our case was transferred. I am confuse if they will rebiew our case again and will make decision? Or does it mean theywill send RFE hard copy again and we need to wai again. They've wasted 2 months.

Its so deppressing. We have a one year and six month old baby. Everyday he learned new things and his daddy missing to see it. He visited us last november until december, but when he need to leave us again its a river flowing down my cheeks. Sometimes i just wish to receive an email saying our application denied so its over, i dont need to think,to wait, because i really dont like the feeling of wating until when?

No problem, They asked me for 2 people to write a statement saying they know we are in a relationship. In this statement they must include there full name address and how they know you. It can be a very brief statement. I got my dad and a co worker to write one.

Then they wanted a letter of intent to marry from both of us. This must be original copies. You can find examples of this letter online.

Also Two passport style pictures 2x2 in size of both you and your fiancée. You must write your full names on the back of these.

Also I sent 4 pictures and had to label them of where they were taken. They just need evidence for their files. Everyone has to go through this mess.

That is what they wanted from me. I did not include this in my petition when I sent it.

To expidite means they will just re-mail it to you. I would definitely keep on top of this. Time passes by quick.

thank you so much... i think they will ask me the same thing. Except for the paspport size picture,i already included that on ourapplication. If they will just re-mail the hard copy why they didnt just tell us that they will do it, why thry need to tell us thatwe will here something from them on friday? God weve wasted two monthssince thry emailed us that we are fot RFE.

Im still confuse if that means expedite should we still need to waitfor a hard copy of RFE and respond to that? Anyway, just to be prepared what documents they asked you for?

I dont know what else they need, in our applucation its obvious that me and my husband are living together in kuwait with a 1 year old baby, we assumed that is enough proof that we are genuinely a married couple. Living together in kuwait for almost 2 years..

About my case hubby called the USCIS again and they admit they made mistake sending the hardcopy in Kuwait, we lived there before but we already change our address. They are nice and he told my husband they will send an expedite request in CSC for our case..and he will call my husband agsin on friday for updates. Thanks God.

My case was transferred month of November2013 and we received an email but its for RFE. We didnt receive the hard copy ,my husband was here in the philippines so we didnt make any move until he came back in US dec 29. They told us they will send the hard copy agsin and wait for 15 days.weve waited and nothing. We called again and they told us to wait fir another 15 days again. 15 days is over again and nothing. I keep on telling to myself to be patient but its so frustrating going through this. Im a Nurse and not working now because of waiting for this visa.

We received email Decelber 11 and our case is RFE. Until now we didnt get any mail from then.

We also received email that our case is for RFE..email was sent Dec 11. Until now we still didnt received the mail..everyday is another day of delay..

I had read the same story like this and the second application was denied. Im so sorry but people from USCIS thought that the Filipina was just trying to hook American citizen to enter US.

No transfer. My wife's case stayed at NBC.

congrats... if we had just sent enough evidence we also got an approval...we had received RFE December 11,,now we need to wait until my husband back in US before we send more evidences..he's here in Philippines to spend christmas.

I am a june filer...yes beneficiary is from philippines but the address is in Kuwait so we didnt get the benefit of being automatic expedited because of yolanda typhoon. But our case was transferred November 24 and then we received email for RFE on December 11.

And oh our case was transferred in CSC

What evidence did you initially send in?

marriage contract, the birth certificate ,certificate of being US citizen of my son, and in our application they can see that we are leaving in Kuwait together. Pictures of us. Now we are waiting for the letter and see what they are asking for evidences. Actually my hubby is here with me in Philippines for one month vacation. How about you

Oh yeah, I guess you have to change address after approval and it reaches NVC. I also put Kuwait for my husband as the beneficiary, although will have to change it to Bangladesh after approval. Good luck!

Thanks a lot. I received an email today..it was RFE ..i dont know what they need more..we live in Kuwait together for 1 1/2 years..we had a onee year and 4 month old son..what else to prove a genuine marriage? Goodluck to you too..

NVC will send case to us consulate closest to beneficiary. What address did you put when you filed? Kuwait? You have to call and change address or do it online.

We had put Kuwait and now im in Philippines. We did search and Unfortunately the only thing we can do is to wait until our case is already on NVC..thats the only time we can change the address..we can only change the applicant address thru online. And ly husband is here in the Philippines so he will figure it out as soon as he go back to US. Tnx anyway.

im a june filer too..got transferred ahead from you..november 24, beneficiary is from philippines. We still didnt get an approval..were not taking advantage of being automatic expedite, but our problem is when we applied we are living in Kuwait, then july , i went home in the philippines, maybe i will not get an approval early like all filipina beneficiaries here but my concern is, once it get approved and sent my case to NVC they might forward my case to Kuwait US embassy. Do you have any idea how to change address of benefeciary? My husband did change the address but that is only for changing applicant address..
