  1. i considered myself a february filer since they received my complete file february 1 and its my priority date. Akihon and I have the same time line. the one i sent last January was returned to me because i missed one page (damn how could i missed that?) i received the biometric letter the same time akihon received it and we have the same biometric schedule although i went early

  2. im from Las Vegas , i received my biometric letter february 22 and dated for March 2. But since the USCIS office of Nevada is just 30 minutes away from my place i decided to go there february 23. i was there 9am and talked to the security guard but the guard is not yhe one who can decide so he asked me to talk to the officer in charge. i did and i asked politely if i can do walk in biometric and gave him a reason why i need to do it early. i have a 3 year old son and on March 2 no one can look for him so i went today because my sister is off and looking after him. the officer is so nice to let me in, asked the letter and my greencard. in just 20 minutes im done.

i think you can do walk in ..but it depends on the mood of the officer. Because my aunt went there 30 minutes ahead from her schedule and the officer didnt allowed her. she waited for the exact time of her schedule. another thing is if you can give an acceptable reason.

  3. Not to hijack op thread but.....

How did you get 10 year GC after only 2 months since POE and citizenship application at 3 months versus 3 years?

    JUst curious.

we applied for IR1 visa coz we are more than 2 years married when we applied. we passed the conditional status

10 green card answer is easy. They were married for 2 years or more before getting the visa.

Not sure what is cooking with the N-400 application... that requires 3 years as an LPR.

husband is working in Kuwait at US Government so we are applying for N400 under section 319b

  4. i received my n400 application back with I797 NOA with NBC* and priority date but its a rejection notice because page 10 of n400 form was missing. My question is if they had given you a NBC* number and PD, does it mean your case is eligible and accepted although i just need to send it back with the missing one page? I am applying for N400 under section 319b so im kinda worried.

  5. I sent my N400 application under 319b. Then when i started reading about N400 application here i became worried. most of them sent their application with cover letter. i didnt put any cover letter. Will it cause to any delay or deny?

  6. Sometimes out of the blue they will ask a documents that its not on the list on their website to bring. During my interview i brought the CEMAR whis is the proof of termination of my first marriage. But i just brought my marriage certificate annotated that it is null and void already. That marriage certificate was rejected by USCIS because what they need is the CEMAR. Anyway during my interview i handled the CEMAR to the filipina consule..then she ask me the marriage cert with my ex. BINGO! Goodthing i brought it too. So its better to bring tons of papers than to be put on 221g

  7. So folks, my case has been updated July 7, 9, 13 and 15.

This morning until 1pm it says AP, but when I checked it again around 2pm it says ISSUED. Now I'm a lil confused, shouldn't be READY first before ISSUED?

I am really hoping that this is a good news. Or maybe just false alarm. I guess, I've waited long enough that I will believe ONLY if the visa is in my hand.

    I'll keep you posted.

    im happy for you.

    you gave me hope.

i guess i need to wait another month. ika 4th month mo diba?

  8. I've seen many cases that has been issued lately in June 2015 (CR1/IR1). Their creation dates are April 2014.

But again, its case to case basis right. Everyone's hoping to be out on this hole very soon. I am in 5 months AP and counting.

we will get through all this...god is good. ?

  9. Hi all,

just curious, if you don't mind... can you write down your case creation date that is shown on CEAC? I am just wondering wether this has something to do with our waiting? Maybe they are processing those case with priority date. for example if the case creation date is April 15 2014 or earlier than that, most likely they already issued the visa.

We can then compare ours and see where we at. I think (really think) I found the point of this long and painful waiting!!!

My CCD is May 29, 2014.

    Interview Date: Feb. 25, 2015

    Thanks,

    Mcdan

i think mcdan you have a point..

creation date is May 2, 2014
