Two questions come to mind. Do you need a visa to enter Kuwait? And do you have the necessary time on your US visa to entry the US before the visa expires. US K1 visa is good for 6 months but from the medical date and not the issue date of the visa.

thanks greenbaum. my medical will expire month of october. i need a tourist visa in kuwait but its a one day to process in kuwait and my hubby will just scan the visa and send it to me thru email.

well but everything will depends when will the US Embassy will release my passport with visa on it. hopefully next week..my 60 days under AP.

i am waiting for my IR1 US visa. my husband is working in Kuwait.he wants me to visit him first in kuwait before entering US. I plan to stay in kuwait for 30 days before going to US. do you think it will be okay? i dont waNt to have problem with the immigration in my POE in US. thank you

Alright folks...my wife's AP is reaching it's 150 days milestone with out any update or change in status. Any update from any one yet???????? Did any one receive his visa after long staying in AP?

it will be my 60 days in AP this coming week. there is this girl name Annalyn who posted about shes in AP for two months. she undergo personal evaluation due to psychological incapacitated decision with her annulled marriage. Her CEAC stat was never changed for two months even the status update date. and at exactly two months it changed from AP to READY..then the next day to AP again then ISSUED the next day. mine stuck on AP too since the day of my interview even the status update date didnt change. i also undergo personal evaluation with the same reason just like her. so im being positive here that next week will be my big day. ill keep you posted .

ive worked in kuwait too and its where i met my US citizen husband. and I am also annuled with my first marriage.

for the question number 1. no need to obtain police clearance from Kuwait. They will ask if you took a police clearance in kuwait but if not its not a problem.

question number 2. She will use her single name in her NBI clearance but there is a AKA (also known as) in which she will write her name with her ex husband's family name.

question number 3. If the NBI has been issued last March 2015 its good until September. the validity of NBI clearance at US embassy philippines is not more that 6 months.

no...this time annulment will only take 10 months to one year maximum. 150k-200k.

yes it went smooth for me. i didnt attend any hearing BUT my ex husband need to exaggerate the story and i was the one accused being Narcissistic ...(because he has the money) and thats the reason why I attended Personal Evaluation at St. Lukes.

believe it or not i was annuled 2004. And now annulment is not an extraordinary process in the philippines.

i never heard annulment here in the philippines getting denied. my ex filipino husband annuled me..the processing took 11 months for him...no appearance in the court..meaning i dont need to appear in the court and it will be a faster to process coz the court called me...disinterested party. it only cost him 150k in everything.

But take note that they only update it when they recieve an email or inquiry from us. So I don't really think its a good sign. Although, there's 2 dates (probably April 25 and may 4) that they updated the CEAC without me, sending an email. I just wanted to see if they really working/touching on my file. I don't know how much longer I can take this. Its really getting into my nerves!!!

I am also on AP since Feb 25, 2015. Contacted the congress and asked for help but totally useless. The embassy just say the same damn thing every time you send inquiry....

is your status update date change from time to time? mine never change since the day of my interview last april 13,2015. thats why im so worried i know no one touches it. i emailed and called them and i got the same answers.

My husband's still under Refused. But they "touched" his file as CEAC updated the date to May 12. Interview was on May 4. Goodluck to us. I hope this waiting game would end soon. Keep us posted.

hello i just wanna share what happened on our visa application. we filed my IR1 when im still in Kuwait. then my husband's contract ended but the application was still at USCIS. husband went home in US and I went back in the philippines. we called USCIS to change address of the benefiary, which is me and USCIS tols us we can do that when our application reach NVC. so weve waited for our application to reach NVC stage and when we had our case number hubby called and inquire what to do to change my address from kuwait to philippines. they gave my hubby an email adress to send our concern. i think it was a month before they change my place. now interview done here in the Philippines. hope this coùld be of help.

i am so worried now. im one month AP..my medical result was forwarded at US Embassy manila the same day og my interview. no paper was given to me after interview. i received email after my interview that i am under 221g for my medical result. CEAC status update date never changed until now ..its still the same day of my interview date. April 13,2015.i emailed called they ate giving the same answer..still on processing. im so worried now

My wife had her interview on 1/11/2015. She was asked to stamp our marriage Certificate from the department of state back home and send it back. Cert was provided to embassy via ARAMEX on 1/13/2015. She was put in Administrative Processing since then. However, Here CEAC status shows "READY" as of now. I'm loosing my mind over this process and can't take it any more. 120 days of waiting and no reply or response from the US embassy to my emails. WHAT IS GOING ONNNNN???

im still in AP ..status update date still the same. April 13,2015. me and my husband is losing the excitement. im calling once a week and getting the same answer. i promised to myself yo stop checking Ceac website and calling USEM. in God's will it will come. thank you all.

one month waiting. no 221g. CO told me my papers are good they just need to wait for my medical result. after that i keep checking the CEAC ..my status update date was never change...april 13..the same day of my interview.

Most previous cases I know cause of delay is they conduct futher investigation, Just like sample of my mom before it takes 1.5months before she recieved the visa due some falsely letter the USEM recieved that concern them to conduct investigation. But Im not sure that will be the same from you case. Just Pray and have FAITH and bag a lot of patience soon sweeter and glorious success will come to those who wait and trust in GOD.

It means your case is getting pushed to the front of the line so a set of eyeballs can look at it and make a decision. So you should hear something in the next view days.

Greenbaum until now theres no update on CEAC website even the status update date was still April 13 yhr day of my interview. still nothing happened for their reply "escalate to post" im worried my file had been replaced thsts why no one is checking for it. its been 4 weeks now. they didnt email me asking for more weeks to review my case. they just told me they will wait my medical result. i called twice the SLEC and emailed once i got the same answer it was forwarded april 13 thr same day of my interview

im under AP for more than three weeks. interview went well but my medical result was not yet at USEM. SLEC will be the one to forward it since i took personal evaluation.Interview date April 13..medical result forwarded at USEM same day of my interview. until now no update on CEAC website..the saddest part the status update date was never been change..its still April 13 ..the day of my interview. i emailed and called they are giving the same answers..still on processing. this is killing me. we started this processing june 2013. im IR1 visa applicant

im in AP too for three weeks now. i keep on reading about applicant who go through AP..my observation.. those applicants who underwent DOT and personal evaluation will be under AP for 1-2 months. i did personal evaluation

so disappointing... status update date still april 13 2015...the day of my interview. my file is somewhere inside USEM collecting dust.
