Depends on the airline. I travelled at 7 months no issues. Also have had friends on a birth board ravelling until 38 weeks. Delta lets you fly until you deliver pretty much too.
Then why are people always saying don't take Medicaid, foodstamps etc on here?

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm not sure employment is covered the way you think it is. I think it means something such as your US employer sends you abroad temporarily, a big example being the military. Not going back to your home country to work your permanent job. Could someone verify?

CT-- There are SSA offices all over the country. They aren't immigration specialist or necessarily trained to know what to do with a K1. So if you read experiences people have for a couple of years, you would learn that people are refused for strange and inaccurate reasons. Things like "you got married so you are no longer a K1, but a K3 which is not eligible for a SSN". Or "your married name is not in the database, so you can't have a SSN".
My opinion on the most fool proof way to get the card is go before marriage and apply in the name exactly as it appears on your I-94. That is even if your name is Charlie Ray Smith and your I-94 comes out CharlieRay Smith. Match the database showing your legal entry. Sort the name later. You have a 76 day window to get a SSN as a K1 so don't complicate it with the chance your local office has a clueless worker. Just get the number.
Besides, your K1 issued card will say 'Valid for work only with DHS authorization'. You will want to go back and get a new card without that wording after EAD or greencard. Fix the name at that time since your EAD and greencard will be in your married name.

Sal Monella reacted to NickD in What gives us the right to invade Syria?
And why Syria when the supporters of that regime are Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, and Venezuela. These are the countries we should be going after!

And no information about the number of people in Syria that are supporting the regime. Population of Syria is approximately 27 million and from all indications the number of rebels is just a small percentage. So if we do take out their regime, we will be making a lot more enemies and can add to these numbers, the countries that are supporting this regime.

All of this BS started at the end of WW II when our key allies, the Soviets and China turned against us. We were never fighting the North Koreans, but the Soviets and China instead. Same BS with Viet Nam, and Iraq, only God knows about Afghanistan, really no regime whatsoever, just thousands of war lords to deal with, not just one small group of people.

And if we do take out the regime in Syria, who would take over? Another equally corrupt regime? This won't solve anything, they will still be supported by these other countries!

And what difference does using chemical weapons make, they all kill and wound. My God, my family was attacked in this country by Land O' Lakes mixing sodium hyper chloride with ammonia forming chlorine gas, couldn't do a damn thing about that except take huge losses and move, by DNR approved dumping.

Can only view this action as making even more enemies, more terrorists groups wanting revenge, and more danger to us. And just can't believe MY country is going to start, yet another war. From every poll I have read so far, the vast majority of Americans are against this action, so why isn't our president listening? If Syria attacks us, this would be an entirely different story. This action would not only cost us millions of dollars, but will be creating more enemies as well. And nothing will change afterwards.

Another thing that bothers me, not fighting an enemy in uniform anymore, really putting our troupes in an awkward position. And with any war, air power never worked, need ground troupes. Can only wonder what Obama learned in college, but really only have to open your eyes and see for yourself exactly what all these wars gained us. Nothing, except a VA hospital loaded with troupes.

That's even sillier. To be a criminal you simply must commit a crime. Elevating the rights of criminals who are in the act of committing a crime above the rights of their intended victims are principles of stupid societies, not civilized societies.

We should apply the same logic to food stamps. Give them to everyone..If healthcare is a right surely eating is..
Amazing how all these kids from poor neighborhoods and families can rise up and over come on the sports field , yet hunger is keeping them from getting an education.

When a man is older than a woman there is the assumption that he is still sexually capable and classic relationship views always have old men marrying much younger woman for protective and reproductive purposes. In many cultures men marrying a bride the age of their grandchildren is very common. Usually a man has things that a young woman is will to accept in return for dealing with an older man , a good deal of wealth and strength in the community.
When it comes to a young man marrying a woman the age of his grandmother, that swims upstream of all social norms. The man is at least for the moment giving up his ability to increase his lineage. Usually woman are not as secure in their old age as men are. Post menopausal women aren't the same sexually as ones still in their child producing years. With over half the non Nigerian 2 Nigerian relationships being fraudulent on the part of the Nigerian every red flag should be carefully examines. These are the people that can sweet talk peoples entire life savings out of their pockets in the chase of hidden treasures that have a few issues in getting to them. There are some legit US /Nigerian couples with decade or more age differences with the woman being older but for every legit one that passes through here there are a dozen where the man will be gone before the ink on the green card is dry. The embassy knows this well and will surely closely investigate his claims of love and if you are not integrated into his family for all your visits then you have little hope of getting him here even with a lengthy AP that is sure to come for field investigations.

there is a BIG difference between Australia and Nigeria..I mean HUGE difference. Nigeria has just about the highest incidence of fraud, if not THE highest. Plus the petitioner is female and far beyond child bearing years, a big part of the culture in Nigeria...really you are comparing apples to oranges.
