mariepear got a reaction from dwinge in AOS - Civil Surgeon says "will perform a physical examination which includes visual inspection of your private areas (genitalia and anus). "
I would find another civil surgeon that doesn't require that... If she came on K1 visa, she doesn't need another medical but if she hasn't completed all her vaccinations she will need to go get that done...and a lot of civil surgeons don't want to do just the vaccination part but instead they want to do the full medical to get more of your money... just find another civil surgeon...

There are many excellent replies here. I'm struck most by the "he is a pig" in the OP, and that the petitioner chose not to be forthcoming with his (assumedly) pending wife-for-life during a whole 8 months -- instead choosing to look elsewhere while (assumedly) pretending that all was well during his communications with her all that time.
If I knew all this as a CO who was deciding on whether to grant a visa, I know exactly what I'd do. If I were a kindly older relative of the OP, I'd say "All the available men on Earth who would figuratively kill for a relationship with you, and this is the level of your standards?" If I were the OP's best male friend, I'd say "He's saving you a lot of time. Count yourself lucky that you found out now, instead of later when it would be far more difficult to extricate yourself."
A rock-solid marriage relies on transparent communication, and there was none until the beneficiary actually arrived and found out the truth of what was going on. It was far different from her truth.
For a marriage that "has" to happen in a few weeks, a lot of fundamental counseling (individual for him, but better for the couple) needs to cover a lot of ground. My male perspective is that the OP should return home now, let the fiance pursue his counseling and personal growth, and -- in time -- pursue another I-129F/K-1, if they mutually wish. Right now, doubts exist on her part, and growth is needed on his part. Personal changes can be made but not endure, and the legal pressure of having to marry now should not compel a marriage at this time.

I don't want to tell you what to do, it's really up to you and what you feel. You should know what's the best for you. I know you probably think that you already invested so much time and effort into this relationship so you just don't want to end it now. But think about your future. When you have kids with him...maybe you won't want to have sex for a couple of months after you give birth so he is gonna look for it somewhere else and give you another "great" excuse... What if they fire him, is he gonna have to get his selfesteem pumped up again?
And why the hell is he looking for other women in cafés (it doesn't really matter who approached who) when he is about to marry you? He doesn't have enough friends to talk to that he needs to be "friends" with stranger women (in cafés and onilne)?
Really think about this again...I feel bad for you that you even have to face this decision (but it should be obvious that this is probably not the right man when you have to think about things like this right before your wedding). You shoulde be happy and excited about your future life now...Not considering leaving...
    I'm sorry about that...

I-134 requires supporting evidence - like bank letters, employment letters, etc... do you have that?

yes, but if you recieve your first card less than 2 years from your wedding it will be temporary...if you recieve it later than 2 years from your wedding it will be permanent.... So only if you recieved your GC after January 2014 it would be permanent... In your case you'll most likely get it before that so it will only be valid for 2 years and then you are gonna have to apply for a new one 90 days before this one expires...

The papers have been signed, and now it's finally time to hopefully finish this and begin anew!
Thank you all so much for your help. Perhaps I would have made a huge error had it not been for the advice.

You will absolutely be required an interview... They are asking you for the photos and the letter of intent to marry within 90 days because everyone needs to submit that... You probably forgot to send it with your I-129F package...

Every consulate has different procedures. The LONDON letter of instruction for K1s states a date at the bottom of the letter. It is actually the NOA2 petition approval date. If you read the London letter posted at the beginning of this thread, the third paragraph says "The K1/2 petition is valid four months......". They are saying in that paragraph if you go past your four months, a notarized letter of intent from the American is required at the interview to re-validate the petition. That is only London's way of doing it. Otherwise London does not require a new letter of intent at all. Your consulate may have a different way of dealing with people who don't have their interview and visa before their petition approval expires. You should read every word of anything your consulate sends you and follow that over what VJ or someone from a different consulate says once you get to that part of the process.
