For all who critize, I have tried to find her, also another reason that I used someone she didn't know was to not "scare" her into hiding. And I have known her cousin long before I knew her, he is pi**ed at her. he is even telling me, as you are, of who to contact to turn her in to the gov't. I am upset but at a loss as to where to look next. I called human trafficing and told all I know, but the man said that this seems like marriage fraud, whom to notify, and to protect myself. He said that these girls get very well versed as to what to do to get the 10yr. green card. Which I already know, he said do not let her into your house alone and to have someone there so she can not cry abuse to the police, even if she only wants her clothes. Sad it has to come to this and yet I still care about her.

In my original post, it was reported to the local police the next day. They said that there is not much they can do beings there was no sign of forced entry, abuse or other. The officer said that by looking at the note she left, she left on her own will so their hands are tied legally. And we did get along fine prior to her going missing. She was a different person after she returned from her trip, always saying that she must work, her parents need money. Since she has been gone the few messages I got from her was that she is in California doing nails, then she is in Vietnam and doesnt need the green card, family sick and needs money for the doctor (lie, I spoke to her dad the same day at his house) and other excuses. Yes the locks were changed since I have my children at the house and didn't know whom has the key. I haven't heard from her in over a month. I messaged her that I do not care who she is with and it would be in her best interest to give me her address so we can divorce which would allow her to try to remove conditions on her own. She seen it but did not reply.

That is my plan "if" that is where she is.

We used a local magistrate. We too got our license in another county other than the one we were married in, pretty sure it has to be the same state though. We got our marriage certificate there a few minutes after the ceromony.

You can oder tax transcripts online from the IRS. Just need to sing up, username and password, then you can download tax transcripts right from the IRS and print them out right from home and its free. There are options for diggerent types of transcripts for different issues, just select the one you need. Those are what we used in her AOS and we didn't get a single RFE.

My wife's passport and sealed packet came by courier, the embassy won't use regular post. It took 10 days after the interview before she got it.

My wife's case was approved today without us getting an RFE. I heard alot of people having to redue the medical due to length of time, but that wasn't needed for us luckily.

As I was told before my wife came over here, in Vietnamese culture, when you marry your wife you "marry" the whole family. My neighbors are Viet and his parents live with him also, but they do alot of the work around the house while he is at work. The only issue would be healthcare. And yes, family is important to her, I am finding out, much more than in America.

Yes, directions say a copy, but people on here have got a RFE requesting a certified copy. I got one, it was like $10, worth it to avoid a delay for that.

My fiance has been taking English classes for a little while now, but every now and then when we talk, half way thru a sentence she reverts back to Vitenamese! Then I have to say what the!!!! Not sure if she does it on purpose or not cause when I say what, she just laughs.
