The short answer is you must spend more time in the US than out, and absences of more than six months CAN BE problematic.
Have any allowances been made - is there any flexibility - for the duration of the pandemic regarding this six month "policy"?

With that in mind perhaps this should apply to American citizens too. All citizens must pass such a test, if not they will no longer be citizens, and be sent to workhouses or forced labor to do all the jobs that immigrants do. Fantastic idea for the greater good, Comrade.
Humor is utterly lost on you liberals.

ACORN ceased operations in 2010. If you have new data, bring it.
Do you honestly think that members of ACORN just walked away from their "cause" in 2010??? If so, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya...
Here is just a two second Google search sample of evidence:
...Confirming what Republicans have been alleging for weeks, the community activist group ACORN plans to release a letter in the next few days declaring that the national organization is alive and well despite closing its local chapters, the New York Times reported...
...many of ACORN’s affiliates, allies, and old chapters remain active under different names—and at least two have received federal dollars—despite the left-wing community-organizing group’s official dissolution and ban on receiving federal funds, according to a new report...”

I think the "testing" should be the SATs. No one admitted with a score under 1200 (or is that now 1600 with the new SAT?).

And his call for law enforcement officers to monitor the polls expressly violatesPennsylvania law. “No police officer in commission, whether in uniform or in citizen’s clothes, shall be within one hundred feet of a polling place during the conduct of any primary or election, unless in the exercise of his privilege of voting, or for the purpose of serving warrants, or unless called upon to preserve the peace,” according to Pennsylvania Title 25, Section 3047.
...In 2012, two members of the radical New Black Panther Party used nightsticks and racial epithets in an effort to scare white voters away from a Philadelphia polling place. The Obama administration ended up dropping almost all of the charges in the case against the Panthers...
So it's OK for racist thugs to "monitor", but not the police?

Yeah, right. That's why Philadelphia had 59 precincts that voted 100% for Obama in 2012. I'm sure that was on the up-and-up. Not a single vote for Romney!

Not gonna happen. Trump married an illegal alien. His supporters don't care about that. Just as they don't care that he doesn't pay a dime in taxes.
Just like you don't care that "dead broke" Hillary cleared $10 million last year.

At some point your attack on others use and comprehension of the English language will wear thin. At this point you use that canard so often, I need to assume that you are talking about a language that is not English.
Sorry, but words matter. Especially when used to "attack" others. I got jumped on here (for no reason) after simply countering the (mis)belief that "Acorn is dead."

Actually, my post was spot on as your chiming in delivered indisputable proof of what I had posted just prior to your chiming in. Context, buddy. Context. Or did you abandon that along with the facts?
I guess you haven't the faintest idea what "indisputable" means.

These are some bizarre posts...

Are people speaking a different language here? Whatever do you mean?
We Keep Receipts, on 11 Aug 2016 - 1:12 PM, said:So you think that ACORN is going to rig the election? Land please...
Where did I say that? I had completely forgotten about this racist organization until someone mentioned them earlier in this thread. So often you project onto others what you think they mean. I was simply correcting someone else's statement about ACORN. Made no mention, and have no opinion, about them and the election.

Get real.
Just because this particular name is no longer being used by these leftist racist thugs, does not mean that ACORN's adherents are not still active. In fact they have already gone through name changes in the past.

It's fun watching you Trump supporters twist yourself into a pretzel to keep defending him. Dignity has been thrown out the window
The twisting is all in your head. A simple explanation was almost immediately provided, but it is you haters that have your panties in a bunch and insist on keeping these non-stories alive.
Hillary Lied. People Died.

She's a politician, that's what they do. Trump is not a politician, but lies 3 times more than Hillary. Can you admit Trump is a liar?
Even though all politicians lie, this is not even close -- Cankles clearly takes the cake. She is one of the most pathological liars ever seen among people running for office, and that says a lot.

She: “Well what about all of the real climate scientists who say otherwise? Al Gore got the Nobel Peace Prize for telling us differently. Do you think you are smarter?”
I admitted to real professional limitations on that last point. Being more a rocket scientist than true climate scientist like him, I falsely assumed he got the award for inventing the Internet, along with an Oscar for his sensationally dramatic science fiction horror movie acting performance. That abruptly ended our chat. My seatmate promptly returned to reading a Rolling Stone magazine Bernie Sanders feature. The rest of that flight was very quiet. I even got some sleep.
Perhaps he got that from the heat he generated in the performance of happy endings during his "massage" sessions.
Some details about sexual assault allegations from his "massage therapists" in 2010 is below:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-2nd-amendment-people-could-000000517.html
Donald Trump faced a swift backlash on Tuesday after he suggested that gun enthusiasts would be able to stop Hillary Clinton from taking away their Second Amendment rights.
“Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish — the Second Amendment,” the Republican nominee said at a rally in Wilmington, N.C., on Tuesday afternoon. “And if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do.”
Trump added: “But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”
Gwen Rocco, a member of the Clinton campaign’s rapid response team, quickly condemned Trump’s comments.
This is another non-story, fabricated by the loony left who stay up 24/7 looking for things to manufacture and spin against Trump and feign outrage.
I saw the speech before all this "analysis" kicked in, and it never occurred to me (and others watching at the same time - including both Dems and Repubs - that those words could be twisted in that way. He was clearly referring to the power of the people in the voting booth.

So what is it about Hillary lying that makes it so unbearable? Because Trump lies 3 times more, and his wife has been caught in a few herself.
At least you admit she is a liar. That is progress.

That lying old cow parses the English language just like her hubby ("depends on what the definition of is, is.").
Never seen such a slimy pair.

Those loons at Huffington Post have nothing better to do than this? I guess not.

Yup, all they got are distractors and non-issues. Anything to deflect from attention on their unqualified disaster of a candidate, Cankles Clinton.
