  1. 1 - you should be find with 3:45hrs

2 - people do changes flights from time to time, so plan does changed. they will not question you on that

3 - CR1/IR1 visa has stipulation of temporary green card. so you are okay to travel after 2 weeks of stay

TAKE NOTE tho : I came here on March this year, stayed 1 month in US then went to Philippines for 1 month then came back. Then I was sent to secondary at the POE. officer asked me where's my green card, told him I ddnt have it with me, we just it in mail 2 days ago. he asked me if I have any special document to travel, told him I dont have. told him as well that I called USCIS to re confirm that I can travel and come back without my green card. He then told me I should have waited for my green card. Then, I was sent to secondary, after maybe 30 minutes of sitting there and wondering what's gonna happened. I was called and was told I am good to go and welcome back to the US. they never asked me anything.

Our visa is good as temporary green card. but in my experience, it is still safer to wait for the green card to be in hand. Guess it was just my luck.

4 - yes you are okay with that. just don't fly 2 or 1 day before the expiry date.

  2. Hi there, I am a newbie and I have read many threads here. I think I have most of the forms completed. But I just want to clarify one of the requirements for the CR-1. When submitting the Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage. We do not own any joint properties nor bank accounts. So the only other proof is through the Affidavits sworn document. The example form on this website is for removal conditions. I am not sure how to write one and what to put on there. We got married late last year and I was the only one to travel to the Philippines. It said the affidavits must be a US citizen. Can anyone help me with this form?

since you are not together yet, its usual that you don't have joint properties and accounts. USCIS and embassies does understand that.

for our evidence, other than the copy of Marriage certificate from NSO, we only submitted chatlogs, Skype video screenshots, passport with stamps during visits, boarding passes, pictures together , copy of western union send outs. I was able to add my husband i my account while we were in PI so we have added that too.

we didn't send affidavits sworn documents and we were approved very fast.

  3. Thanks for all your help. My plan us not to get spinsorship anymore. I will have enough funds at that time. I apply for a loan or something. And never to mention about my boyfriend. I'll go there as pure tourist. Is that good enough? Should I book flight and make hotel reservations before the interview? I think this is a better way to go. No, there won't be any kind of conference meeting of my company in US there.

Do not book any flight or hotels prior to visa issuance. The US embassy themselves are not advising that.

    Goodluck with your application.

  4. Thanks Dod

Yes ours went fast. then only hold up was at NVC stage as I have to wait for my police clearance from Qatar for more than a month and we were scheduled for interview at embassy 71 days from case complete. But I cant complain, all in all, our process was still fast

  5. I am the beneficiary, my husband is the USC. In our form, line 17 section C it is my name that is listed there and not my husband.

If I understand it correctly, OP said she is the beneficiary and the husband filed the petition means ( husband is the USC/ LPR), husband listed her ( beneficiary ) which I believe is correct.

That’s just how our paper is and we didn’t got any problem with it, in fact our I-130 was approved.

  6. beharrr , I am not really sure about the portal. I log in once but I ddnt received any email from them.

also one lady who has done the process in Abu Dhabi Embassy a month ago told me that the courier service is not true for CR1. Cr1 visa should be personally picked up at the embassy on the date specified after the interview.

Only K1 and non immigrant visa will be pick up through EMPOST. that's what I did for my tourist visa 2 years ago.
