Pardon the intrusion on your overzealous rant but you JUST sent your petition in three days ago. If anyone else joins you on this rant, they're foolish. You should put your anger back in your pocket and give up on this process now before you destroy every opportunity you have to get your spouse here with you. If you're this angry now and you havent even gotten in to the line yet, by the time you have more work to do and/or have to communicate with the government to finalize paperwork, what the hell kind of crazy will you be by then. You really should calm down and wait like all the rest of us. You sure as hell arent hoping with that that youre going to get any special favors. Good grief. If anyone else on VJ subjects their real self and their spouses identity to you and puts themself in this firestorm you're trying to start, your spouse and theirs will never get thru the interview and you'll be in line for longer than the rest of us. I second this, sounds like OP is only interested in living in the US no matter what it takes. That's not what the K-1 is meant to be for. It's to be with someone you love who happens to live in the US.

Yes, please divorce him first. You will hold the power when you are the one starting the process. Don't let him screw you over any more by letting him file first.
Also, please please report him for fraud. Do it factually, unemotionally, and without his knowledge.

you could write up letters of attestation about what's going on, and submit them to the IV Unit somewhere in India, so at least what you're purporting happened to you would get into the next casefile - but that's some time down the road of HIS next venture..
I dunno, I suggest you simply divorce him and make certain his name is on nothing that shows any 'joint co-mingling' - utility bills, bank accounts, etc. i also suggest you move this week, and find some room mate situation with some classmate for the fall term.
