I will be sure to ask permission next time.
There are times when what is the correct way is not always possible and I'm glad I did it. I moved as well and am rid of 3 creeps in one move. I may be wrong but I think a restraining order will not be forthcoming as that would take hired council as well as the fact that I do not know where she is nor whose bed she is occupying at the moment. She also does not know where I am. I also do not think she will go that far for another personal reason.

Palu, I did read the whole story from the very beginning, it shook me a lot. For some reason I just wanted to add something to her credit even if she is a story by now. You are an extremely good person, there is no evil in you as you didn't recognize for a long time you are being consumed. I sincerely hope everything turns out into a brighter side for you. But, please, don't get depressed and don't give up in trusting people - there IS love in the world and you will find it. Take it as a good lesson and move on.

Thanks to everyone for their support. The plot thickened this morning when I woke up early after working all night I found my beloved wife secretly applying makeup. When she saw me she quickly hid it. The only time she has ever worn makeup around me was at our wedding. She was being picked up to spend the day with another filipina of very questionable character . When she left I could not stand it anymore so I went into the guest bedroom where she sleeps and keeps her possessions (never did unpack). I looked into her backpack and found a box of almost empty birth control pills. Now, she has never slept with me but she is giving it out around town. Where is the end of this drama? This is all a terrible dream that I can't wake up from. This is the end. Tomorrow she will face a choice, out in the street or the next flight to Manila. Unbelievable, she told me last week that she never had a sex drive. This is the very last straw, I doubt you could know how angry and totally betrayed I feel. Total, unequivocal trash by any standard anywhere. Will this never end?

I hope the problem will soon be over. She has agreed to sign the annulment in my lawyer's office the middle of next week. Of course I had to sweeten the pot ($), not a huge amount but worth it to get rid of her. In the agreement is a clause that states that neither parties emotionally abused the other. I believe I might have mentioned that her new filipina friends gave her a course in immigration law. After she signs the lawyer will hand her a plane ticket for the next morning. As my lawyer has told me, he will tell her that will be the only ticket she will receive. By the annulment will state that she committed fraud.
Her only concern now is what is she going to tell her parents.....maybe the truth? NO!! Can't do that! She will think of some lie and her parents being her parents will accept it.
I do worry that some other poor westerner with a shix eating grin on his face will be her next victim as I believe a annulment in the Philippines will erase the record of her being married. I guess in the end it is a case of you throw the dice and take your chances.
Thanks to everyone and may your journey be a happy one.

I love the hypocrisy of the church. Cry over the children from poverty riddled catholic countries who have only been born because of the church's ban on birth control. This pope is a hypocrite, end of story.

Correct note: it's unfortunate to see so much politics entering this sub-forum daily. These members are completely oblivious to the fact that Major Changes in Family are humanitarian issues. By definition, no victim here foresaw their unfortunate situation in the hands of spouse. Many could not foresee their new spouse abandoning them. In a few exceptional cases, mothers abandoned babies - an outcome that even nature scientifically is not allowing for

@Palu: Sorry to hear all this. Of the people who are rude, and mean...just push the ignore button!!! Don't care. Life is too short to care about those people. Care about those who care about you! Simple as that. Here, on this forum, you'll find both of them, so just select the ones who are helpful and nice and care about you. I am very sorry for you, and I hope she signs that darn paper. I would still in the meanwhile file for USCIS a withdrawal based on fraud. Too bad you did not record her saying what she said. Then you would have complete proof. Make sure she does not take any papers that might help her ROC (in case she somehow still gets her GC), such as any paper evidences proving bona fide marriage. This includes joint bank statements, joint rental agreements, joint car/heath insurance, utility bills on both of your names, credit cards, photos, anything that would otherwise prove that you guys entered in a good faith. That way, in case she gets her GC, she'll still have a nearly impossible time at ROC stage. But if you withdraw the application she might even get denied still for her GC. And just hope she'll sign that paper!!!! I really hope she will. And I am sorry of your past hard times too, although don't know them, but I've been there myself, so I sort of understand you. This lady however should not be that painful to leave behind even though you loved her. You'll find someone who loves you truly. I am sure!
    All the best!

Yes, some just come for entertainment to make others miserable , makes themselves feel better about their own lives. At the same time there are many people who come here to give good advice , sometimes advice we don't like to hear but nonetheless perspectives people may not have thought about. It's all in the way it's presented. There will always be those that just come here to poke fun at people who put themselves in a bad situation by being naive and trusting. Maybe some are even doubting that they aren't in the same situation as you , and just haven't figured it out yet. Just get through this the best way you can , move forward and don't look back.

You can always count on this lame attack on someone victimized by a green card fraudster.
The person treated as an object is the OP: to be used for a green card. Sending a green card fraud back is the LAW, since entry was illegal. The real irony here is the person doing the attacking is pretending to care more for people than the person they are kicking while he is down. The one whose heart was ripped out mercilessly, finances drained, hopes dashed. By a criminal.
That shows you the real character of the person doing the attacking. In a lynching like this mob psychology always rules too. String him up. He's already been put down and weakened by a criminal so let's just join in on the fun.
    Congratulations. Very brave.

Don't sweat it. I think many of us have made mistakes along the way on one form or other. If it is important enough, you will hear from them. I can not believe, despite my best efforts, the number of mistakes I made and never heard a thing about it.

When I read your post I thought you were a teenager, not a 23 year old man. You changed your story about when and why he hit you, and now you are too afraid of bugs to start a garden. He is a 78 year old man, he thought you were going to wreck his truck, he reacted. You are the one with the issues, not him. You sound like a spoiled teenager. I'm wondering why you would even post this here. Grow up.

I don't see why you feel the need to put "rights" in quotes. They are either rights, in which case they apply to everyone equally (not just people who watch Law and Order) or they aren't.
When it comes to constitutional rights it's "use them or lose them".
As someone who recently became a US citizen (or their spouse) your apathy towards civil rights disappoints me.

I called today myself and was told they received my file on the 10th (USCIS said they sent it Dec.24th) and to allow at least 9 more days. That's right one keyboard with everyone working there typing at once
