are you serious??? there are no jobs in pakistan, not even minimum wage jobs, much less an enforcable minimum wage and it doesn't matter your education there either just who you know and what connections you have. no racism in pakistan either huh? just in usa? what a bunch of b/s, racism in pakistan is severe. sorry to tell you but hard work is a virtue in the USA not something we look down on as something for the "labor class." hard work isn't beneath you because you have an education, get over it. go back to pakistan, you are never going to be happy here with your attitude.

CajunKitty reacted to Kathryn41 in Just my observation
It appears to be true that most K-1 visa holders do not receive an interview for their AOS. This was noted first back around 2005 when USCIS first started to transfer AOS cases from local offices to CSC. The transfer notices stated it was to improve the speed of processing. Research determined that the cases transferred were generally very straight forward and did not appear to have any sort of red flags or apparent issues. Everyone reporting the transfer was a K-1 (I don't recall anyone filing from another visa being transferred and processed without an interview) which makes some sense since K-1s have just completed a series of security checks and interviews shortly before applying for the AOS. Once it appeared that the K-1 visa terms were fulfilled, unless there was something obviously amiss, the files were transferred to CSC for quick review and approval without an interview. Occasionally, there were a few files that were then re-transferred back to their local offices and those individuals were duly notified that they had an interview. So, yes, the majority of K-1s seem to be approved for AOS without an interview.

CajunKitty got a reaction from Benediction in RFE That makes no sense
Did you meant you submitted your 2011 return and not 2012? Because you said you added her to your 2013 return, 2013 is not due until next year.. Based on your timeline you got married Dec. 2012 so that means you will be filling or filed your 2012 taxes as married this year..

I guess they lost some of your documents that's why they asked for it again.. It happens all the time, people do get RFE for documents they've already submitted.. Just submit everything they asked on the RFE letter and you should be good to go!

I visited only once and it was no issue. We were approved. The criteria is to meet at least once in the past 2 years.

CajunKitty reacted to lovelovelove13 in Prenup agreement discussion
In my opinion:
Yes, for some filipina they will look at it as an insult but let me speak for myself only. If my future husband wants to have a prenup before our wedding I will give it to him for the reasons that I am not marrying him for his money and I do not have plans on leaving him in the future. Let's just put it this way, if you have clean intentions then you do not have to freak-out and feel insulted about that topic

CajunKitty got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Tax Questions!
Yes! I understand that we have to file as a married couple but the thing is we cannot e-file because we have to attach a statement stating that i wish to be treated as a resident.. Our only option is to mail our tax return along with the statement (because im not a resident yet) which takes longer to process..
