Hey, thank you all for the congratulations and the kind words! I think this site is awesome because so many people are going through, or have gone through, the same thing.
sutherlnd, Charlie30, and Tayri n Tudert - I just noticed all of you have very similar timelines. If you're not already talking in private message or something, maybe now is a good time to start I connected with someone with a similar timeline as myself right after NOA2 and it has really helped to go through the process with someone else! Not only to make sure you haven't forgotten a form or missed something along the way, it has been fantastic to share all of the anxiety and joy too. Made a big difference for me!
destiny64 - Thank you for adding the historical insight. You guys had a long journey. It sounded like it was pretty bad, but I haven't seen a whole lot of that recently. I was glad to hear that your husband was approved!
I would encourage everyone to write a review when it is their time. Good or bad, just write it out. It really does help others get an idea of what to expect.
    Good luck to you all!

saidhenni, I would have your american spouse call the consulate to see why they keep calling you. I'm assuming the person answering the phone at the consulate isn't understanding that someone is trying to reach you from there. Could be they need something from you and its holding up your case, they aren't just calling to say hi

No, I don't think that this wait time is normal. You may email the consulate and inquire at IVCasablanca@state.gov
They typically email the benficiary with a letter that contains the interview date and all of the instructions for medical and forms. If you email them, you may want to confirm that they have the correct email address for you fiance. Include your CSB case number in the email, petitioner and beneficiary name and birthdates. They are quite good at responding to emails!
    Best of luck!

Debbie, when you were swooning could anyone have steered you right? A lot of people on here come back with remorse like you have, and admit they ignored glaring red flags until it was too late. I find that very sad, but any effort to tell them to "be careful" or "listen to your gut" when those red flags can be seen from across the internet is never met warmly.

Red Flag that's more of having no sense. Anybody with common sense know that if a man ain't showing any interest at all to a woman. He is either gay or don't want you. I'm sorry ,but i could never be On that level. You. Saw that that guy wasn't interested in you and you still persude a relationship with him and now you are claiming a broken heart. Im sorry that you went through that, but honey you put yourself in that. You allowed yourself to be used

You began this in the way you did and when you got off the plane refused to see what was right in front of you. Now you are warning people not to do what you did over and over again? Do you think anyone in your frame of mind would listen. You didn't want to see the reality yourself. I am sorry this happened but you enabled this guy from day one.
At this point you don't know what to do? Simple. Change your entire way of thinking and don't expect people you don't know to provide you with the answers to very personal problems. You of course are responsible for all of this and what you will do next. Don't allow anyone to use and abuse you again.
There are good people out there that will respect you for who you are as you are. Forget this series of mistakes which you already paid for and move on. Karma will take care of this jerk.

Have you been in a coma for the past six and-a-half months? The USCIS doesn't hurry anything. Your approval was only ten days ago! If you don't get a hard copy in the next week or two, call them or email them.
Right now, you should be focusing like a laser beam on something else: you should be calling the NVC every day in order to get your MNL case number. Once you have your MNL case number, you can pay the visa fee at BPI and schedule an Embassy interview appointment. What are you waiting for?
    Also, read this: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction_rtf2_005.pdf

Tell her she'll be fine. While I agree that it is nice to have the US fiancé there for moral support, most of us did not have our fiancés with us for the interview. It is absolutely normal to be nervous (boy was I nervous before my interview), but tell her not to let that consume her daily routine.
What really made me feel better were the statistics (I do not recall the link, but it was somewhere on the USCIS website I believe): 97 percent of all K1 visas get approved. The statistics are in her favor, good luck!
Edit: Oh, here are the statistics for 2012: http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY2012NIVWorkloadbyVisaCategory.pdf

Tonight on my way home in horrible Los Angeles traffic after a 14 hour day of filming in the sun, I got a text message to check the USCIS website and - what do you know - our petition has been approved! I was so excited that I immediately called and woke up the fiance to tell him. It made the drive bearable and made me forget how exhausted I was. It also came after a week of very bad news for me, so I am very appreciative of the timing.

    Now onto London!

Thank you to everyone who has helped make the process a little bit easier

why bother to read the guides when there are others who are eager to answer those questions instantly?
And to those people are not happy and become defensive when the answers are not what you want to hear / expected, get yourself a lawyer then.

I'm not starting this topic to offend anybody or to start a beef just for the beef sake. After several months of being on this very helpful forum (it's a life saver in many cases! ), I have this general observation that people do not even bother to read instructions and guides. It seems they don't even bother to use a search engine to look for answers to their questions, but just bluntly create a new topic to ask their question that has been asked 3 to 5 times the very same day. Sometimes there are several topics one under the other(s) about the same thing. It makes the forum bigger and bigger mess every day.
I know this process is long, exhausting and above all confusing at many points. It really is and also has been for me. I always try to help whenever I'm logged in and I'm able to help (when I know how), because this is the main purpose of the forum -- to help and support each other. But even earlier today I read posts in a topic from more experienced forum members that the question about Texas lockobx and Texas Sevice Center comes up way too often and perhaps should be pinned somewhere to be visible. When I browse through the K1 forum, I see more and more replies that are only like "Read the guides" or "Follow this link", because these are basic questions!
It's all there in the Guides, in the Downloads, on the Visa FAQs etc. My plead for new users especially is to first research and read, and then if your question/issue is still not answered or it's very specific to formulate a question on the forum.
I wish you all a good day and above all as smooth visa journey as possible!

You need to go through it to fully understand that feeling LOL. Few months ago, some people were chastizing others for celebrating their approvals just because their own cases were being delayed. When few of them eventually got their approvals, they expected others to rejoice with them .

I finally got my RFE letter. It was about my fiance letter of intent. At first our letters were direct and to the point. We were advised my fiancee's letter needed to be "Our love story" so it was long and had many details. So now i'm mailing the original letter.
My recommendation is if you pay attention to the details file the petition yourself. I had everything in good shape but second guessing myself I hired someone to check my work. It took them an extra month to check everything out and they only made one change....you guessed it my fiancee's letter of intent. If I had just mailed it in myself everything would have been correct and I would have gotten my NOA2 one month ago, now including that month I figure we are going to be 3 months behind. and I would have an extra $400 in my pocket.
Pay close attention to the guides ,do your homework, ask questions and save yourself some money and heartache by doing this yourself.

Who's we? You're a 2013 filer, not a July 2012 filer, and you're complaining about them slowing down because they've only done just 7. You've applied when CSC is racing through the 2012 backlog and will likely start on 2013 before long, whereas VSC filers have months of waiting before they even touch it. We're approaching the same timeframe as CSC filers from last year. The July-September filers from 2012 complaints were completely valid and CSC's behaviour then was inexcusable, but I think you need to look at the big picture if you think 7 a day is slow. CSC won't operate at this speed forever, they are simply trying to clear their backlog. As for the other posts, me and my fiance are entitled to our opinions and historically the two service centers never operate at the same speed. One speeds up, the other slows down. In this case, VSC slowed down when CSC sped up almost at exactly at the same time. My point is simply, if you think working OT on a Saturday to do NOA2s and 7 on a normal day is slow, you may want to re-assess your expectations to save being let down when they go back to their normal speed; also bear in mind the fact that Visa Journey data only accounts for around 5% of total applicants.

Are we going to have one of these posts every day now? CSC approving 14 is still VERY fast (and they approved more than that, btw). Let's just try to be relieved that they are finally moving at all and hope that VSC hasn't entered the dangerous slowdown that the CSC did.

are you asking approval of the petition or visa issuance, because Uscis approve almost every petition, it does not mean because Uscis approved K1 or Cr1 etc that the US embassy will issue the visa.Good luck.
