Congratulations @Mmefall!!!.. u r at the end of this long journey.. am excited for u and ur hubby..am gonna start uploading documents soon but i have a question coz am gonna use a joint sponsor who is married..Am not sure which I-864 he should use. if they file jointly and have only one income.. do they both have fill out theI-864..which one???..If they both work and file taxes jointly..do they both have to fill out that form and which one exactly..if theres a link i can read all this.. it would be very helpful.

Our case has been complete at NVC since April 2nd and still no interview date! I am beyond frustrated and starting to worry. I thought it only took 2 weeks to get an interview date???😞

Crying of joy! We FINALLY got a CASE COMPLETE today!!! 😭🙏🏻 Alllll the glory be to God!!! After 1 year and 1 month full of many manyyyyy emotions and needed patience, we’re on to interview!!

A massive congratulations to u @nastra30!!!!!..This is very impressive to get an interview date less than 7days after case complete. Now its time to book ur medicals and hopefully the Drs are not overbooked..

@nastra30 Congratulations u guys coz i c u already have case complete!!!.. These days am laying low because am aiming for our 2 year anniversary so i havent even started collecting all documents right now..i just want u to be available when i start struggling with uploading documents at CEAC..Lord knows am not  a  tech person.. am still hesitant to scan my divorce decree coz it has a lot of pages.. i feel overwhelmed to be honest.

once USCIS has approved ur petition.. there is no need for u to send proof of ur relationship to nvc..save it for the interview.

Ya it was really one of those times when you feel sorry for the person and you just hope you will be ok when it’s your turn. 

Aww. I hope you’re together in August. Things are looking good.

Our application was mailed to USCIS on 16th March 2018 and received on 26th March so almost in the 1 Year territory! Our 2nd anniversary is 22nd December so I think by God’s grace we will be together , but this time I won’t have to leave in January to come back to U.K.!

Wow, your 2nd wedding anniversary is in August; how time flies. You first USCIS/NVC anniversary is this month so congrats on both.

Indeed coz i was calling them weekly and u know how they keep saying it takes up to 8weeks before a case number is assigned.. so i was planning to call them this month-end really.. They surprised me with the email when i thought it would take  up to feb 28.. so am sure u gonna get urs very soon.

NVC emailed us after 6weeks and 3 days.. i was relieved.

Got NVC case # on 2-5 
Paid both fees on 2-13
 
Logged on NVC site and I can start applications now! Took about 3-4 days to show as Paid 

Uncle Sam doesn't joke with his money. Yeah, the new tax code has take some people by surprised. People are getting less tax returns compared to previous years; I certainly got a few hundred less in return.

mine took about a week if not within 10days.

After 6weeks and 3 days since NVC received our file from USCIS..We finally have bn assigned a case number.. we both got emails with all that info.. bn calling NVC weekly and i was so sure it was gonna go over 8weeks..so i was planning to call them again at the end of this month really.My hubby`s consulate is Johannesburg and i was so sure i would have to mail the documents to NVC..it turns out i was wrong..its all about scanning and uploading..am nervous about it  i tell u..will c.. i havent gathered most documents yet coz thats the way am planning to do it.. a bit slower..Got the case number yesterday February 15th .

hehehehehe...@nastra30..i can neva hide from u..its impossible..so u r next am sure of it..believe u me that email from NVC surprised me yesterday.. i must say it was a nice surprise.
