Hi, my case was approved by USCIS on 08/13/18. However, we didn't send any proof of our relationship to USCIS 6 months ago. The more i read about my wife's case,  they will ask for more proof of relationship at the interview. Can i send pictures, phone bills, air tickets to NVC? So when it comes to the interview date, they won't ask for it again. Has anyone here done it before? thanks.

Even though I'm not sure Vietnam is considered high fraud country (I've seen a few articles but its still it still seems to be a gray area) I would consider sending some if you feel your case has any red flags.  Truth is they typically already know they are going to deny/approve before an interview so sometimes its best to be proactive.  As far as at your interview you must have it all documents sent previously and any new evidence.  Unfortunately sending it ahead will not guarantee they won't ask to see it at the interview.  Not having evidence at the interview could result in lack of not enough evidence of a bonifide relationship.

Im in the same boat.  I gave my attorney 18 pics of us together when he sent off the i130.  Should’ve added other things.

I heard people say vietnam is high risk country but when I google for a list, it’s never on there.  Not sure what to make of it.

can you elaborate on the process of deny/approved before the hand?  How would they go and deciding this?

-thanks

NVC doesn't need any proof. All they need are the civil documents required and the fees. They will accept the fees and approved the documents, and you'll move on the next step which is waiting for the interview. Bring the evidence to the interview. Oftentimes, they don't even look at the evidence, but it's better to have it just in case.

Your guess would be as good as mine.   You can see by looking through VJ that a lot of the times the officer does not even look at any evidence brought the day of the interview.   That's why sending evidence ahead of time is recommended for high fraud countries or couples with red flags.  You can research embassy specific threads and see if front and side loading was helpful for the embassy in Vietnam.

The only proof of a marriage is the marriage certificate.  The rest is evidence of a relationship.

What you're asking about is called side loading.  You can certainly do this if you didn't front load at the USCIS.  The CO legally doesn't have to look at any evidence added after the I-130 but often will look at evidence provided before interview.  Vietnam has a few interesting things you should look at your country timeline about (like a timeline of relationship.)  IMHO I would side load vs waiting for interview to present evidence.  I cannot stress how many times I've seen posts related to the fact people waited until interview to present evidence that the CO refused to look at or didn't care about.

It's a reason why i want to send to NVC first, so they could include timeline and evidence to my package. I hope once NVC approve it, they will mail everything to Vietnam.

I'm sure they will ask for the Timeline. I've read a lot of cases where CO request for Timeline, more pictures, air tickets billing, ect

NVC doesnt approve or deny anything.  They simply make sure the necessary documents are there so the CO can make a decision.
