Household size doesn't mean the number of people actually living in the same house. Its a term that means the number of people being supported. In the case of your co-sponsor, his household size is 2 because he is supporting himself AND your fiance. He could be living alone...he could be living with 10 other guys in a huge house...his household size will still only be the number of people he supports.

Persons you ARE sponsoring is your husband, so you put a 1 for him in #1. Anything after #1 are persons NOT sponsored, so it would be a 0 for #3. Some people using this form may not be sponsoring their spouse, and therefore would need to count their spouse there as well as the person they are sponsoring. You do not count anyone twice, so #3 is always 0 for anyone sponsoring their spouse.

If you need to write Guangzhou, be sure to include the specific CITIC branches you're having trouble with. I received a reply from the Consulate asking for that information, so they can investigate.
Also, write as the Petitioner and use the Petitioner's e-mail on file. They won't respond to your fiancée, since they don't have your P3 and verify the beneficiary's e-mail address yet.

I've already begun sending out letters; initially complaints to CGI Stanley and the Guangzhou embassy on a completely ridiculous system of scheduling interviews they have in place.
My fiancee cannot log in to the website, she even had a Chinese friend that works in IT try to help her and she still cannot get in. This leaves the burden of scheduling the interview all on me. My days are now spent checking the CGI Stanley scheduling site every hour to see if there is an opening which doesn't exactly offer me a lot of time for sleep (typically six hours a day).
After I receive a response from CGI Stanley (already have one limited response documented, waiting on a response to my full letter) and the Guangzhou embassy (probably not until middle of next week) I plan to write my congressman, Senators and, the IG and the media (basically what I did for the CSC slowdown). I currently have a good rapport with my congressman so I do feel like there will be some pressure on CGI Stanley and the embassy to get this issue fixed; not for me but for all of those future applicants. It seems that at every step of the way we have run into speed bumps; first it was CSC and their complete work stoppage on K1 visas (due to the DACA petitions), then a RFE (which I believe was caused by our lawyer losing part of our documentation), the lawyer and insanely slow responses to get things done from him (I have had to hound him every day it seems) and now this CGI Stanley Interview Lottery #######. Unless people complain, this system will never change, they will simply believe it to be working, and that is very sad indeed.

You can add addendum letters to any form, just be sure to state that the letter is an addendum to Form x and label your information with the corresponding field numbers from the form. You may also need to sign and date the bottom (safer) if a signature is required on the main form.

For the K1 process, the NVC is nothing more than a mail stop. All the NVC will do is assign a case number to the file and send the file on its way.
Invoice Identification Number is not applicable to K1 cases because no fees are paid to the NVC (regardless of country).

Yes, the BIN is only needed for online forms, which is only available for certain countries, China not being one of them. But regardless, online forms at NVC are only available for IR-1/CR-1 applicants and their derivatives. Whatever you've read in posts 1 and 2 do NOT apply to you. This forum is for IR-1/CR-1 applicants, not for K1s.

The instructions say 'evidence should consist of copies...' so I think you should be fine. If you have time to get it changed and get it to her that's fine but I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you send the evidence in duplicate and she should have a complete copy of EVERYTHING with her when she goes to the interview.

Yes. CSC has slowed significantly. It is painful watching late February and March filers get approved while we wait for some indication that someone has looked at our petition that we filed February 6th. Of course, it is in the hands of the government and I do not expect any logical or rational execution in paperwork, like going in chronological order. The whole system is a cruel joke. My heart goes out to those who have been waiting since mid 2012. Its a shame it takes so long to look at paperwork and stamp the damn packet. At least have the courtesy to execute on a "first come first served" basis. Frustrating as hell knowing these monkeys are in charge of my petition. Let's hope this banana break doesn't last too long.

I just talked to a friend who I just found out is a contractor at the VSC and they said that more adjudicators have been hired so I hope it does mean that the people who weren't transferred have a shorter wait!

wow!! 10 approvals on VSC in one day?! I'm impressed! If they continue approving at least half of this every day I'll be so happy. This whole waiting thing is depressive but I got a little excited when I saw Igor's list.

I feel the same way. They received my RFE information on the 12th and I expect a decision any day now. I know it could still easily be a few weeks, but I keep expecting it constantly. Maybe we can both get ours soon
