Seriously? Have you taken a biology class?

The children of first cousins have increase risks for certain diseases. That's a far cry from "deformities." This isn't a horror movie where the kids are cyclops.

My masters in human genetics and 10 years at a biotech qualifies me to address your bigoted and wrong understanding of biology.

Who is on welfare? Your family or you. You are not supposed to be on welfare or receive beneftis because whomever sponsored you with I-864 is responsibile for any means tested government programs. If your family receives the benefits, you are to be excluded. The federal government will sue whomever your sponsor is for repayment of benefits that you received.
Also, you are able bodied and can get out and go to work. Just because you live in America now, does not mean you cannot work. I think that it is sad that you feel that this is the way of life. How can you live on welfare and in section 8 housing, and think that it is OK, cause you are tired. Everyone gets tired from work daily.
If you lied on your paperwork to obtain these benefits, then it is fraud and you will be under the prosecution under that law.
Also, you are not eligible for a fee waiver on means tested benefits, you are not entitled to. Are you still married?

Hi there Pinball1921, simply visit the U.S embassy in Panama's website http://panama.usembassy.gov/typesimmi.html and select the option which applies to you. I did a little search and here is a link with information about what physicians conduct medical examinations for U.S visa interviews in Panama and how to schedule a medical examination, http://travel.state.gov/pdf/medical/PNM-MED-MULT-0001-0907.pdf
A useful link concerning preparation for medical examinations I found was on the State Department's website, http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3739.html All you need to do is select the country which applies to you in the drop down box and then it provides you with the appropriate information about where and how to get a U.S visa medical for the relevant country.
    Good luck!

Seems like their are several issues, especially with the arrests and type of charges. Maybe a chat with an immigration attorney would benefit the both of you.

You need to call the medical place you will go to and ask what is the requirement to get a medical. Some countries you have to have the interview letter some don't.

I see everyone else writing their experience so I thought I'd do the same. I filed for I-130 expedite because I am in my deployment window. I have no orders yet however. I had my commander write a letter, and my unit deployment manager write a letter confirming I was in my deployment window and that my orders could be short notice. Then I had my own letter and that was addressed to the local congressman's office. I gave all the letters to the congressman, and they had their own letter as well. Expedite approved, and i130 approved all on the same day. By the way, I filed on April 25. It CAN happen without orders, despite what some people believe.

    Hi All
So I entered the US recently with my K1 Visa, at the desk in the airport where I handed in the big envelope of information and my passport and I94, the lady took everything and processed it. However I did not get the paper I94 back, I asked about this and was told they now use an electronic I94. I thought nothing of it until I want to get my SSN yesterday. The lady at the SSN office had not heard of an electronic I94. After much trouble we found a website which shows a scan of you i94. However she processed my SSN without the I94 and used the admission number on the stamp in my passport.
    Hope this helps.

I'm currently in the process of finishing up the last stages of the fiance visa and from my experience I would say to go ahead and get married due to the fact that the steps for the marriage process is a shorter route. When doing a fiance visa you have to do the process for the petition and if he is approved and comes here, you still have to get married and start the second phase of getting him is greencard, so I reccomend marriage. If I could do it all over I would have just gotten married. The fiance visa is a waste of time and money. I had to wait 8 months just to see if the application was approved and now he has to do an interview to see if they will approve him to come to the states... If things doesn't work out, we will have lost out on a lot of money because we paid $340 for the application fee, he has to pay for medical, $240 for the visa fee, and so much more... Good Luck

They could have lost it. Send another signed letter, one each from the petitioner and beneficiary.

Well this OP has a path to a GC, and the highly positive factor of being married to a USC.
And this OP, unlike the other, hasn't insulted anyone and doesn't have a false sense of entitlement.
OP: Good luck. Like Boiler said, a quick consult with an attorney might be a good idea, but 1 year and 27 years of overstay are considered the same for people in your situation.

Sometimes I don't understand the members of this forum. So here is someone who overstayed 27 years and everyone is so supportive to him/her. In another thread there is a person who overstayed 2 days and got sent back on an attempt to re-enter and everyone is bashing him and beating the ####### out of him.
    Go figure...

Okay... so he needs to withdraw the I-864 and that will kill the AOS. He won't be "on the hook" for anything.
She will then become the master of her own decisions, and if she stays here, then she will probably get caught at some point and deported. If she doesn't get caught - then she can never become legal here, no matter what. He should buy her a ticket home, though, since she can't work and presumably has no money.
Action speaks louder than complaining about it.

There has been a lot of confusion about freedom of speech on this board recently.
Freedom of speech means you will not go to jail for saying the wrong thing. It doesn't mean that you are not responsible for the consequences of your speech.
Immigrants have freedom of speech too. It's just you guys don't know what it means. A married person cannot get a fiance visa, by law.
You don't need to "be careful." You need to tell the truth, or face the consequences of your lying.

Altho i believe ur advice is accurate, as everyone has and is entitled to their own opinions,so yes, people (consulates) will judge u and ur situation based on info they find on the inet especially since this may b all they have to go by, however it could have been said a little more respectful.. And altho it may not be normal for you to call your fiance something he/she is NOT. Does not mean its not normal for others. The reality is, a vast majority of people engaged refer to their soon to b spouse as their husband/wife.. So its nice of people on here to warn others it may result in a denial so dont use those terms publically if u do not wish for the consulate to get the wrong picture. Thats great advice! Im happy i read that advice however telling people what to do as if your running things around here isnt necessary. All advice is of course wanted, direct demands and rude behavior is not appreciated and were all hurting n waiting on here for our loved ones, lets be supportive and more person centered not so goal oriented! God bless us all
