That's funny I wouldn't be on an internet forum saying your son was wondering in the woods and nobody knew that he had left. That's called child neglect and endangerment. Not knowing where your 2 year old is, isn't something to be proud of. I can pretty much guarantee the number of people who would think the worse parent is the one who let a 2 year old wander through the woods, rather than the one who had a 17 year old that was bad at knowing the names of streets.

I agree VIP! But it is also who you know... so I'm sure there's people who get rushed through. What really needs to happen is stop this dream act stupidness, it only affects all the people who are doing things legally. They should charge them a ton to afford a whole new division. Obama prefers foreigners to citizens.

Thanks for the replies! And no she didn't ask for the money, I learned about it from asking. She said her parents told her to ask but she wouldn't do that. The actual bill was much less after they shopped around Dr.'s. The price may be high because of reconstructive facial surgery, I'm not sure though. All is well and I didn't send any more money than I was planning to for Xmas. I just didn't think an accident would happen that was really bad and not a story.

You are pulling a lot out of thin air here... maybe from first hand experience? You totally got me wrong because I'm opposite from what you're trying to paint me as. My facebook is open to public, I don't have a lock on my phone... I know what you're describing though it's a bit pathetic, I have dated girls like that. You're talking about hiding the present vs. a past that shouldn't matter. I kind of feel like you're reading what you want to hear, not what I actually wrote. I never said she shouldn't know about my bankruptcy. I actually told her and like I thought she had no idea what it was. I don't really care what she knows, the point I originally tried to make that got lost is she could find out something that concerns her that means nothing to me, so better to have trust in a relationship. Maybe trust isn't the best word, maybe a sane relationship. There are so many things that someone might be alarmed by, that others think is everyday. Maybe someone would freak at an interview just over hearing their fiance owns a gun, which is very normal in the US. I've dated girls like that and I just got rid of them not the girls the guns... probably should have got rid of the girls though much better financial decision. But you can warn pinay about me, it would be fair I warn them about guys like you. ha ha! I'd tell you why but don't want to put any ideas in pinay that use this site. You do have one thing right, my fiance does not use this site. Not because I don't want her to, but because she doesn't want to come to the US. I might have tried a little too hard to make sure I found a girl with out US eyes and she could care less about the visa. She wants me to move there so she doesn't have to leave her family, which would mean I leave mine and like her my family is important to me. So I don't hide this site from her but I know she doesn't care about it. I wish she did, I wish she was like some of the girls I see on here all excited about coming to the US. Damn I get all sentimental when I've been drinking...ha ha. So when you hit the mark I will let you know. But so far people seem to be poor readers, or misunderstand sarcasm, I certainly can't be to blame for stupidity on the internet... it runs rampant. I'm a very firm believer in that you need to date a minimum of 100 girls to even know if a girl is for you let alone make a relationship work. Before that you are throwing darts blind. I thought my first girlfriend was the one, thank god I didn't make that mistake. I could just as easily paint you as the guy who hides a girl in a small community like a prison to keep her un americanized so she won't leave you when she realizes you aren't an alpha male. To me that is sad. I have already prepped mine that she will change a ton when she gets here. I'll be just fine though if things don't work out for me, can you honestly say the same? Good luck!

Yes Acto gets it, you can't possibly tell everything because you can't tell what you don't know. Trust is the main factor, and not over reacting like a child. No normal guy tells their girlfriend or wife about every detail of their life. Artisan unfortunately you live in a world that doesn't exist. To think your fiance knows every single detail about you is impossible. Either you lead the most boring life in the world or you are out of touch with reality. Luckily yours is a bachelor party I don't think I will mind missing. I will definitely not be telling my fiance what happens at the bachelor party:) I've told my fiance everytime I have left the country this year, but if they ask her where I went she will have a hard time answering just like I would cuz I travel so often. Either way the post helped me cuz I can prep her now to be prepared for anything that might hit a nerve. I'm honestly not too worried about the whole process, I've dealt with immigrations before and if anything they were too lax. I'm friends with a US ambassador so if I hit a bump I will ask for help, until then I'm enjoying the few single days I may have left.

See TnJ has a perfect example, you can't tell someone everything. It's not a lie when you don't tell someone something, I don't know what world you live in rlogan, oh Alaska figures... Well here in the real world mistakes happen, things get on your record by accident sometimes. It's better to get your fiance to trust you and if she or he finds out you're a killer not to over react. Obviously I'm being dramatic, but still point being there are lots of things the government might think to tell your fiance that you might not thing is important. It's not a lie to not tell someone every single detail about your life, I don't like talking about the past it bores me. I certainly don't think my fiance would appreciate me telling her about every girl I've dated, so I tell her about important ones and leave the rest out. What about DUIs? Lots of people have them, should you tell your fiance something so trivial? BTW when you go to court you only have to tell the truth, not the truth about everything that happened in your entire life. If you trust each other you should be able to rationally hear a story about the other person and either say yes I knew or play it off like it's no big deal and address it with that person. Owing back taxes in my opinion is like having a missed payment on your credit record, who cares? Should I tell my fiance I filed bankruptcy 3 years ago? I don't think so my credit score is already over 700 and it was a financially smart decision. My fiance and I have one common goal, to have kids and start a family. Unless her or I have a child abuse record nothing else should matter...

I thought you couldn't do a visa with a criminal record... You can't possibly tell your fiance everything, I think it's better to just have them prepared so if they hear something they don't over react... then you're covered! I don't think my fiance knows what I do really, it's not important and she will never understand it just like any other girl I've dated. I think the correct response if someone says did you know your fiance.... is to say no we didn't talk about that but I'm sure he or she will bring it up when it makes sense. You should trust the other person, not telling someone something is not lying. It's a good prep for interview this post, who knows what the heck they could have in government files or what they feel is note worthy.

I agree with Gowon you are being a little extreme in your pursuit to find out what she's up to. The relationship is over, don't waste time trying to fix it just move on. It's nearly impossible to prove she married you with no intention to stay with you. Being married only 10 months will make it very hard for her to adjust her status. Any relationship comes with the risk of ending, you just have to do your best to avoid it. File for divorce and head back to Philippines for the next one.. I'll give you some advice that usually fall on deaf ears, the less you care the more the girl will want you. I feel like you should have a minimum of 100 relationships before you consider getting married, I feel like you fell short of that number. I personally would stay away from craigslist, that's not a huge step up from getting a bar girl. Think outside the box for finding a good girl in Philippines. Realize that there culture doesn't frown that badly on bar girls which is the most degrading thing I've seen in my life. I've met many thai and pinay here in the US that would never in a million years work as a bar girl in there own country but yet are shaking their @ss on stage at a strip club here cuz it's not that bad in comparison. You're single and free again right now, enjoy it!

I'd like to play devils advocate on this one. If she came here for him why would she want to stay? If I moved to another country for a girl and we broke up I would move back near my family. I think their are times were girls could make this up once they get here, I have to imagine most the time they do not get their green card. The guy isn't a good guy, but I'm guessing there were signs before hand. Normal guys do not want their wives to get multiple piercings, that's something stupid kids do that don't know what they want in life. I think she should definitely get out of the situation, but with how little she's lived here I think it's wrong that she stays he should pay the ticket back.

Think very hard before you bring a bar girl here, you are playing with fire. A bar girl has to be the most degrading thing a girl could possibly do, it will scar her for life not to mention the feelings you might keep from it. You have to do what makes you happy at the end of the day but I'm sure you can find a girl who has not done something like that. For those of you unsure what a bar girl is you can google it. I've met "good girls" that got visas and came here and became strippers, but they would never consider being a bar girl. Because their society placed the bar so low, stripping is not all that bad in their head. Please for your own sake think very hard before you do something like that, it may sound good now but it will most likely not end well.

That wasn't much help, I didn't ask how to get married there. I asked how long it will realistically take to get a visa after you are married. There's too much bad info on the web to trust it, k1 visa is a lot longer than USCIS states as an average.

I haven't been on this forum long but I notice a trend of rejections flipping out on how it isn't fair something must be wrong. But maybe you should look at the possibility that the government is saving you. There are tons of fraud cases, most the time I think both parties are aware but I was told of this story that didn't quite work out that way.
The long story short version was. A filipina who lived here since a child got sick of US bull and went back to her country. She then wanted to see her parents here in the US again so planned a trip back, her parents picked her up at the airport and there was this strange guy with flowers shouting her name and following her. She told her parents to ignore him. When they got in the car she told them how she duped him into sponsoring her and paying for her flight. They probably weren't proud parents at that point. She did end up getting the whistle blown and got in trouble in the US and the philippines, probably in prison.
Some people have the ability to do things that most don't conceive possible. I sure would hate to have been that guy at the airport who thought the love of his life was there and she acted like she didn't know him. It sucks that we need these laws and rules but we do it for the minority not the majority. All countries have bad people, we certainly don't want to add to our already rotten bunch.
