This is my 3rd time to process a visa. First myself then my son ,next is my mom, base on my experience, it dont matter whos the president, it always took me forever for the case complete, waiting period sucks, but what else can we do? My mom failed 2 times for visa application before trump won. So, its just my opinion, as an american citizen now, that its just how uscis works

Hello VJ friends, i have a question, my son got approved by USCIS last march 30, i knew that the next step is the USCIS will then send his papers to the NVC, how long does it takes for us before we heard anything from them. i tried to call the nvc and they keep telling us to wait for 35 days, but according to the letter that we received form the uscis that NVC will contact the beneficiary, and that we have to wait for 30 days before we contact the nvc and that if the nvc will not contact us within 30 days, we need to email them. i really hope we can hear from them soon, I'm really hoping my son will be here before the school starts. Back in a day when my husband petitioned me, we can call the nvc and inquire but now the nvc always answered us that we need to wait for 35 days.looking forward for any reply

In life there are no guarantees.
My Ex is a pathological liar, caniver, deceptioon artist, child/parent alienator and also an American. I say this to show that these things happen also with USC to USC marriages.
One thing I will also add is that you did not loose a Daughter. She will turn 18 one day and you can then reignite your relationship without any distraction.
You can make more money, buy more huses, properties, etc .
I know this is a clique but do not get hung up on her or the system that enables people like her. Move on. Success is the best revenge.

What slows you down is having to send all of your documents to the lawyer and then having them send them to NVC, instead of sending them directly there yourself. Calling NVC isn't going to slow anything down.

If you want to pursue thing with ICE, pick up the phone and call. Don't wander around VJ building up support. Take your shot with reporting it. That's the only way to know if what you have as evidence is going to make be sufficient. My understanding is that you have to present a strong case for ICE to expend energy.
Also, divorce and move on from the marriage. Trying to exact some sort of "payback" is ultimately a waste of good energy.

I did confront her, and she agreed to put things behind her, and move forward with me as the focus of her life. Now, evaluating it all again, and reading all the logs and photos again, I recognize she has not really changed at all. She shows me no love still, showing more love for our dog than me, and has another facebook account now. She never states that she is married, and never will post a photo of me with her. When I added her to my profile in FB as my wife, she declined the link, and blocked me from her profile.
I thought I would give her time to 'come around' to reality, and she had promised to, but now time is running out, and she has not made any efforts, and her behaviors are regressing backwards. I love her dearly, but will not stay with a woman that does not love me. When questioned about any of her behaviors, she just clams up, and will say 'because I want' or 'because I don't want'. She refuses to discuss any issues, which tells me, she is just trying to push to the 10 year card.

im sorry to hear your story.. i am from Philippines as well and i am so much deeply and truly inlove with my husband and i dont tolerate this kind of an attitude of a filipina..i guess you need to do some action about this. i dont want people use people for there success.. that's not good. But im just wondering how did you manage to stay with her for almost 2 years? and do nothing after seeing her love story of the filipino guy? i know how it hurts for you but i guess you both need to talk and confront her about what is really her intention.

Crazy. SOme poeple waiting and get NOA2 in 2 months.. some wait until 5 months before Approval. Very inconsistent.

I totally understand, I got married 29 days ago and miss my darling husband every minute yet we still have a long wait ahead.
Could you try a trip over? I know its not a sure thing but theres a chance you will get granted entry!!
Otherwise lots of Skype calls,emails and stay focused on the end goal......arriving at your POE and running into your loved ones arms knowing you don't have to say goodbye at the end of your trip!!!!!Huge hugs to everyone seperated right now.

Yes....I just can't make any sense out of this. I cannot wrap my brain around this procedure for obtaining an interview for an IR-1/CR-1 applicant. It is nearly mind boggling....I'm going crazy....I need psychotherapy soon.
The waiting is tolerable if you know what's going on...but at this point of the process, we just sit and wait without any hope of progress. Help....

The story that you tell does not sound like anything that will improve. Best to end it and move on.

If you don't get along now in the relationship then imagine when you would be married. No respect now means No respect ever. It don't seem to me like you two made a good connection from the beginning. Sorry but you did what was best for your future. Good Luck

If the story here is factual...it sounds as if there is no innocent party in this relationship. Niether is showing respect for the other.
In my opinion a true loving relationship requires "respect" for your partner.

A person "reporting" something like that is fairly empty unless they can offer proof that it is true. The accusation follow up would also include an investigation of her "complicity" in the fraud. Likely she hasn't thought about that aspect.
Personally, I think that is one of the worst things that a spouse can say when having a disagreement.
If the relationship ends there will be zero immigration repercussions.
Divorce happens. It's no fun. But it is survivable.
