the same thing happened to my husband his medical expires December 12 they asked if he could travel before then...he said yes he can and they issued the visa the next week!!! Best of Luck

If you love her, go to her. That is EXCELLENT advice for true love.
As for all the advice of how to fix an overstay...that is pretty good advice, too, for people who broke the rules.
It is a good idea with USCIS to NOT BREAK THE RULES because you will be questioned about that.

One way tickets are some times twice the price of round trip tickets! It's crazy and makes no sense of course there are some airlines which this is not the case (Aer Lingus being one of them) I bought my wife a return ticket from Ireland to Las Vegas with united which cost $800 a one way would have cost $1300!

My visa was approved yesterday, the lady that interviewed me just asked this questions:
When did you meet your fiancee?
When was the first time you saw him?
Where does your fiancee work?
How many kids does he have?
What are the kid's names?
Where does he live?
She didn't asked me for any evidence at all....(wooow, I had a bunch of it)
After the questions, she was typing something, then she asked my kids their age.
After she finished typing she smiled and said Welcome to the United States, your visa is approved and you will
get it in 5 days, then she gave me a green paper, that said it was approved and the instructions to track it from DHL......GOD is so awesome. I feel relief, well for now we're finished with the first and more stressful step.

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section, but...
I have gone through the entire CR-1 visa process, and my wife is living here with me since September, 2012. I recently found that she's been cheating on me. I am in contact with the guy who she's been cheating on me with, and he has sent pics as proof.
I also have texts of her admitting it. We have NOT removed the conditional status yet (have to on 6/8/2014).
Needless to say, her and I are through.
I feel like she used me to get here, or at least was not in good faith. What do I do?
I would rather her not get to stay here and enjoy the US after using me to meet another man (probably more, her phone is FULL of dating apps). What do I do? Do I file an anullment(sp)?
What do I do? I'd rather her go back to her country and not get away with it. Once again, she is still in conditional status and I will not file for her to remove the conditions. She doesn't know how to file herself (YET). Is there anything I can do?

You came here looking for ways to avoid having your gf leave the country. overstay her B2 visa... Looking for loopholes... Nobody here is going to tell you the best way to break the law.

Nope i wouldn't take a chance to go anywhere until you get your green card.

Let me see if I understand you:
Your fiance is here on a student visa and he is no longer a student and therefore is out of status?
He is in the US on an out of status student visa and is employed?
The two of you are getting married while he is here in an out of status visa?
The two of you don't want to live together so he can finish a school he is not currently enrolled in?
He has outstanding traffic tickets and does not know where he got them?
How many red flags does one need? If I were you I would...Run, run like hell...

Depends on your own integrity.
I could have take advantage of the loopholes since I am from VWP country but I didn't.
Do whatever you want to do, since I suppose you have already made up your mind, just coming to this VJ for people to validate your choice.

I was in your shoes.....my BF( now husband) was here on a B2 visa. He went home and now he is there waiting for our papers to be approved. I didn't want anything coming back to bite us in the A$$. So the answer to your question is.... NO, I wouldn't break the law to bypass the rules.
Sometimes the easy way isn't always the best way.
read read read this forum and search for your topic. You WILL find that nobody here will advise you its ok to break the law .

You can file for K1 while she is still here but she has to leave when her B2 is up. If you two knew each other before she came to the US then there is no way to marry her here and successfully AOS her. I know it sucks but you will have to be separate while the government processes her visa. All of us here had to go through it.

Hi, my fiance and I have been in the K1 process for a year now. He got his interview date today for october 7th. He has already purchased a plane ticket for the 16th to come home.
After reading horror stories...I have this overwhelming sense of dread. Im so nervous he will get denied. I sent him all of the forms and tons of evidence. I just worry that they will say no.
How many of you have been denied?...any words of encouragement?....what else do i need to do?...

Packet 4 has finally come in the email and a medical has been set. Interview date in about two weeks. Finally this is in God's hands

I sit here and read about this persons approval in 39 days...and here I am waiting 7 months...with nothing from NBC....are we being punished because we choose to marry instead of applying for a fiance visa? I'm so disappointed in the whole process and I don't believe anything anyone tells me anymore...I have had lawyers tell me.....You are an American...your husband is Arab..you can't go live in his country so it is the U.S Governments job to bring your husband to you....why did I ever believe these words....I have already decided that if this process takes much longer for approval..I will go live in the West Bank....I refuse to let anyone tell me who I can marry, and who I can love.

If I was him I would be on the phone with her right now and not give a damm what time it was there or what she was doing.

Thanks for this very insightful response. Yes, it appears that someone here is very bitter and just wants to see this guy get screwed, whether he deserves it or not. I agree, resentment will eat away at a person. I am a man so people might not take the same comments from me so I really appreciate your thoughts here. I wish both of these persons a good outcome.
