My ead/ap finally arrived and my greencard is expected tomorrow. Yay! next wed we'll go to the dmv for my new license and to the ss office to change the conditions on my ssn. Ill start work in april.... Im just a few steps away from being a normal human being again !

Yes we are ready. I'm very excited, my husband however is all relaxed - that really helps! We have our paperwork together and just wanna get it over with! Thank you, I'll defo let u all know how it went. I hope we get approved on the spot. Had a jobinterview last week and another one coming up and both want to hire me. But I can't have them wait too long - already lost a fantastic job offer that way :-/. Hope to get a stamp in my passport!

I can't believe you are complaining about 3 weeks, knowing you would have him back in 21 days. Just suck it up, it could be a lot worse. If I were you I wouldn't take any chances and considering it may even take you longer to get an appointment at the embassy (and be possibly denied). Just file AOS as soon as possible.

If the story here is factual...it sounds as if there is no innocent party in this relationship. Niether is showing respect for the other.
In my opinion a true loving relationship requires "respect" for your partner.

But if she realized she didn't love him anymore, or it didn't fit, why would she leave without saying anything? I mean things change, feelings can change, that's human and something you should be able to talk about. Leaving just like that is not ok, whatever the reason may be!

Yes. I did that in a couple of days all together. First, the name change, then to get a new passport (takes only 3 days) & the same day I got my passport the 'abmeldebescheinigung'
But you can also just get the last thing and get everything else done in the states at the embassy.
