HawaiianCecil got a reaction from Hypnos in Marriage to save from deportation?
marriage strictly for the Green Card. (Which woud prove to be difficult because that's exactly what it is.) So, you're asking advice on how to best defraud the USCIS? Answer: Don't even try!

HawaiianCecil got a reaction from rohandlulu in Coping.. How do we all deal with waiting for our loved ones
Well, in my case, I live in Hawaii and my love is in Jamaica - not the easiest thing in the world to visit, especially since Jamaicans can not get a tourist visa.... Money, jobs, etc. We're close to the end now though

The NOA2 is NOT an approval, just means your petition has been approved. Still have to do interview with supporting evidence, can still be denied.....

HawaiianCecil got a reaction from asset in Getting my representative involved
Appreciate the responses. I didn't post this to complain about the waiting - I was aware of what I got myself into! I posted because I wanted to share the response I received from my representative's office......

HawaiianCecil got a reaction from asset in Arbitrary processing times?
So I just read about someone who got their NOA2 from CSC in a month and a half! While I'm very happy for them, I can't help but wonder how I can be sitting here, five months from receiving NOA1 and still be waiting? It seems that plenty of people who filed way later than me are getting their NOA2's so I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows why this is? Who at UCSIS randomly decides who gets expedited? I know military members get expedited but they can't all be military....
Just feels really unfair....No RFE either, just....nothing

HawaiianCecil got a reaction from JEWELLA in Too many obstacles?
Doubt that, but thanks for your input. I am originally from Sweden and my boyfriend is Jamaican so the "back home" does not apply....Besides I immigrated many years ago...and I didn't "dump" anyone, I was the "dumpee" at the time
