calygirl75 got a reaction from Ivie & Eguagie in How to cancel my CR1 visa ?????
Sounds like your done with your spouse, based on your feedback. May I suggest working on what you do next about your marriage and not about the visa. The visa will expire without any further action from you. So redirect your energy else where. All the best.

calygirl75 got a reaction from Novembro in October 2013 Interviews
Hello! Husband called me at 10 am EDT to let me know they approved us. He will need to return on the 15th to pick up the visa. Phew! I don't think I'm be 100% back to "normal" until he has his visa in hand. He sent me the details of the interview in Havana via email but they are in Spanish so I will translate and post. Although I have to figure out how to do that since I can't seem to find the "embassy" for Cuba. I'll have to figure that out. Anywho, Yay! Happy Dance.

I am a Jan 14, 2013 filer. my case was sent to the National Benefits center with a MSC #.
some time in March I called and was forwarded to a Tier 2 officer who notified me that my file had been transfered back in Feb of 2013 to a my local Tampa Office.
I received an NOA2 on June 6, 2013 and i never was able to look up my case status until I called and found out I had been approved. I went to the site and tried the number and it FINALLY showed up online.
so I think you might one of the few that never can pull up their case status online until its approved. hope this helps.

Unfortunately some of us on this board have individuals with personality disorders in our lives. So it is easier to spot these patterns of behavior. What you describe in your soon to be X is typical behavior these folks engage in, in order to generate self-doubt and guilt. Actions speak louder than words and right now it appears he is wearing the schmoozing, charming, and victim mask before you family yet attempting to manipulate you into not taking action. Cut him off. They are cunning, cold, and very aware of their own behavior.

Taal, while you weigh your options, do not make the mistake of being baited. the best reaction is non reaction to the emotional abuse you are being subjected. these snakes push buttons and can generate a cloud of confusion. they have multiple masks and they wear them according to the audience they have. remember everytime you give him that, you are the one that appears unreasonable or unstable.
be kind to yourself & your family (they may not understand now but you are saving them from living with a monster that will also use them and manipulate them). evaluate your existing options. take action. (just like you informed yourself on how to take yourself through the visa journey, find a way to extract that parasite from your lives.) be steadfast and do not waiver.
save yourself and your family. allow yourself a new start in life that doesn't include the venom he spews. you might find that the most healthy thing for you is just to cut him out. you may decide there is no need to pursue the fraud option or to "expose him". that is so draining. and it can make you bitter. people like that eventually reap what they sow.

Well it took a while but the Tampa Office finally came through. I went online and found this:
Post Decision ActivityOn June 7, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice.

This is the FIRST time I am able to pull anything up by using my case number. Our time has finally arrived. NOA2 to be sent in the mail. Now I have to read up on the NVC process, doing this on my own just like most everyone on this forum. Very grateful for all the help and tips. No RFEs!!!!!!

    I hope you are next!!!!

If this helps... I got my tranfer date from the email I received that notified me that my file had been tranfered. It read: We understand the concern that caused you to write. USCIS records show that your Form I-130 petition was received at the National Benefits Center on January 16, 2013, and forwarded to the XXXXX Field Office on February 27, 2013.
If you have further questions or concerns, please make an InfoPass appointment via our website at www.uscis.gov to speak to an Immigration Services Officer at the XXXXX Field Office regarding the status of your case.
