You are misreading what I wrote. The fact that they have already filed the petition means they are good to go. If they had not filed the petition they would have to file it prior to Dec 2013 or not meet the two year requirement. I never said it runs out.

I called last week and I was told they are processing March 5 and since I am early May I should "wait 90 days, if not approved call again." Uhhhmmm...
But, on another note... I'm going to call again today.

Our NOA1 date is April 13, 2012 and we received NOA2 at 1615 yesterday. VSC is working April currently and is almost 50% done with it.

I have been monitoring Igor's list and the forums religiously for over a month. Looks like Vermont is now speeding up. Is it true or an illusion ? We filed in June and seeing dates like 23 April in the list is encouraging as we can hope that it will be our turn in just over a month. It may or may not be true but in times like these hope is all one has to hold on to. Even the completion graph for April Vermont K1 filers stands at close to 50%.

Can someone with approval date of today or the last couple of days updates us in the current state of K-1 Processing time at VSC.
VSC is slow and not transparrent on what is really hold them back so far behind compare to CSC. The USCIS website is the worse to get information. As of OCT 04, 2012, The website keeps saying the VSC is currently processing march 5, 2012 for 1-129F. To make matter worse for us, the previous month of sept USCIS website updates was stating Feb 27. Did the VSC just process 5 days in the entire month? This can not be realistic at all. I do not care how VSC can spin it. VSC is either lazy, someone is doing real poor job, or imcomptete. !!!!!!!

I did the same exact thing, what I did was gathered everything and put my recipt number on every single document. I also included a heart felt letter (lol) to please include these missing documents with my application. I knew there was a chance that they wouldnt match up my application with the rest of the things, but I was lucky and got my noa2 sept 11. So dont listen to the people acting like all hope is lost. I would advise you though to just reapply now since your early in the stage. I noticed my mistake 4 months after waiting, and I couldnt bear the thought of starting all over after all that time.

People on this board are for some reason always VERY defensive.. no matter what the post is in regards to! I never asked you to agree nor to criticize OR speculate the reasons why I believe Barack Obama is a detriment to this country. 5. He has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. "Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? I have no numbers to back it up but it would make sense.. Men commit crimes at a higher rate and it is probably assumed they commit fraud at a higher rate. They most likely get more scrutiny. The only official number that I have seen is that 47% of all family based visas are given to men. The number means nothing since we do not know how many of those are spousal visas and we do not know what the percentage of applications are from men.. The numbers are probably out there somewhere, I just have not looked.
Having said that, I bet the numbers are probably more skewed than simple suspicion of men in general would explain. I would attribute that to the larger number of men applying from MENA countries that have a lower rate of approval.
In the end the country your family member is coming from is far more important than the gender.

Please pass this to everyone. I'm guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history. Remind everyone over and over how this man thinks, while he bows to the Saudi Arabian king...

When you're missing more than have of your security briefs playing golf or simply because you don't want to be there, I'm pretty sure it's easy to not know what's going on.

After watching the report on Univision, there is no way i can support an administration that put firearms in the hands of very dangerous criminals in Mexico. I am voting for Romney because of F&F! I hope other Mexicann hermanos do the same. We cannot support, nor should we support an administration that has helped dangerous criminals to terrorize our fellow Mexicans in Mexico.
It's time for Obama's administration to go. We cannot afford mistakes like those that have been made with F&F.

If this was prayer request specific to someone from his regional forum I'd agree with you but this is prayer request from the general VJ membership in regards to someone they would like prayers for, so I'd have to agree with the OP since this is P & R the thread is appropriate here. There may not be many religious only threads posted here but the tone of each thread is set by the OP so many times we've gone by that.
I'd really like the request prayers for the 14 yo Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai who was shot in the head and neck this past week by Taliban militants on her school bus along with two other girls. I know from experience working with traumatic brain injuries that she most likely will never be the same but I have seen miraculous things happen. Every time I read her story or watch video of her I cry. It really affects me deeply. I pray for her recovery, her friends, her family, the women and girls who seek their right to education and freedom from the oppression of these brutal men that prey on the poor and uneducated, and for the people of Pakistan.

One wouldn't expect Obama would be organizing security teams for embassy-type personnel, or Clinton for that matter.
Obamas problem IMO is not that this massive failure happened under his watch but rather his response.
THink about it, our ambassador was targeted and killed along with others and we have not even heard the old "We will hunt them down" speech.
Here it is a week later and the only thing the president has done is lock up a guy who put up the youtube vid that he used as a diversion.
How this has been handled has been a huge failure in leadership (at best) and that.... he owns.

You can pin the blame for lack of security on Hillary Clinton; but after the attack, the President should have been informed of everything happening. That's his job. I want to know why there was a parade of people claiming it was a protest over a video when we now know that there was no protest. We can pin the response to the attack on Barack Obama and he has either lied to the American people or he chose to be ignorant of the facts as he blamed the video.
