So I just called USCIS and spoke with Denise (very friendly). I asked her the current processing times and she told me they don't go by that, and that Vermont is currently "up to date" with their 5 month goal. She said if I don't hear back next month, then to call back and talk to them and they will better help me. LOL

I called last Friday, and the lady told me the same thing. She actually told me that if I don't hear from them by "November" (mind you I am a June filer), then I should call them. At this point, I don't even know what to expect, just keep on waiting I guess :)

Hahahaha, up to date. That's really cute. Look at my signature. That's 8 months and 5 days. Most people are waiting 6.5 to 7.5 months right now. If you guys are getting antsy this early on it will be a long ride. I'd take up a new hobby and get comfy. Really, don't believe a single syllable uttered by anyone at USCIS. I have yet to be told the truth about anything at any time when I have called them. All they are doing is trying to get you off the phone and telling you whatever they need to tell you to achieve that goal.

I called last week and I was told they are processing March 5 and since I am early May I should "wait 90 days, if not approved call again." Uhhhmmm...ranting33va.gif

But, on another note... I'm going to call again today.

Just got off the phone with a really nice lady. She was going to put a service request in for me before she realized they were doing March 5th as of today. Lol, knew I couldn't be that lucky. She said give it "63 days and then call back." Oh well, worth a shot. She was sweet though, told me "Oh I see it's a fiance, I know what that means. I'm sorry for the wait, it's gotta be hard." Ha, well, back to waiting nicely.

Im a May filer, and we are still waiting for our NOA2 to appear...

However, my fiancee (USC) got a call from an agent working on our K1 (!!!!!!!) and he said that he apologises for not getting back to us, but it has been really busy in the VSC (as we know). He is saying that May filers are looking at mid Decembers for approval to start.

Luckily my fiancee and I are planning for a May 2013 wedding, so we have plenty of time. Whether or not his information is accurate or not is opinionated, however at the rate that this is going I am finding this to be a trustworthy source.

It's greats that you've finally heard something from them! But December!? What a bummerino..... Today is our 5th month mark and I was hoping for NOA2 before I visit him the last week of November. Oh well. Even though everyone says not to plan a date for the wedding or anything, we have our hearts set on March 9th or the weekend after that. Most of our friends are going to have to fly over and if we would have to change the date that would really screw everything up... But I'm keeping my hopes up!

Mid December seems kind of far out considering that VSC is currently approving plenty of petitions from mid-to-late April.
