FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY received notice that our Oath Ceremony was scheduled & notice has been mailed!!!  So excited! I'll update the list once the letter is received.  Just to recap, we had our interview on 04/19/18 and were approved on that date.  We've been waiting ever since for the oath to be scheduled.  Our interview was in Detroit.  I believe (from what I've read) that the oath ceremony will be in Grand Rapids, MI.  I'll soon know for sure!! YAY!!

Congratulations!! That is wonderful that you were scheduled at the time you were approved!  We've been anxiously waiting several weeks.  Ceremony is scheduled and now we wait for the letter with the date to arrive! LOL  We are thinking that a July 4th ceremony may be in the works for us as well. How cool is that?!? Worth the wait, that's for sure! :-)

Yes, some are lucky and the oath is either done at the time they pass the interview or a scheduled date is provided then.  Others have this final queue to await the Oath Ceremony to be scheduled.  We had the interview back on April 19th and passed.  Still waiting for the Oath Ceremony to be scheduled unfortunately.....

OMG!! That is AWESOME!  Congrats!  Our NOA date w/ CSC is also 06/22/16 so <<fingers crossed>> we are not too far behind you for approval! 

When I scheduled our InfoPass appt, the confirmation screen indicated we must print it out or write down our PIN as it was the only time they would provide it.  Without the PIN, I'm not sure what you can do.  There is no way to recall this information for security reasons, etc.  Not sure what would happen if you just tried to schedule a new appt for the time today. If it allows you, just tell the officer that you see today what the situation is and that your other appt needs to be cancelled.  Worth a shot! :-) 

Sorry if this has been addressed previously but I can't find where if it was... When filing a case status update online, I remember tried to do that once (the last time we were outside normal limits) and chose the I-751 form but kept getting an error stating "form subtype does not match application" as it lists CRI-89 on the USCIS case status site. What is the work around (if any) for this?  Want to be prepared when the time comes so I can do this online this time :-)

Just FYI for those on twitter.  For the next hour, @USCIS is answering general questions (no personal info tho) if you submit w #AskUSCIS at end of question. Who knows how many they'll reply to but worth a shot to bombard w questions re: length of time this is now taking :-)

Great post!  I have had much better luck, however, contacting our senators vs house representatives in the past. I'm in Michigan and yes, this varies as well but if you do not hear anything from your member of the house, reach out to your senators at http://www.senate.gov/states/  For Michigan, once your senator is located, click on Agency Assistance and complete the form on the lower section of the page. There was a drop down menu to select what assistance was needed.  Not sure if they are all set up the same :-)  Just did this and it was super easy.

Hi folks, I found a really nice case tracker & searcher app for iphone. You can search other cases that has the similar case number as yours. If you don't know how to read your case number, read this link first: http://www.visajourney.com/content/uscis-receipt-number
 
For example: if your case number is WAC1618050100, you can search all the cases with number like WAC161805XXXX. The search result will give you the case status and case type. Then you will be able to tell how many CRI-89 cases have been approved that were received on the same day by USCIS. 
 
I searched for my case and I found about 1200  cases were received by USCIS on the same day and about 300 (25%) were CRI-89, and only 1 case has been approved! Now I can feel how backlogged they are on CRI-89!

Just imagine what it would be like if after years of being married a spouse could hold over their immigrant spouse's head the threat of "I'm going to report you to ICE and send you back". When marriages don't work out it can at times get ugly and lies can be thrown left and right, but those are marriage problems and not immigration problems. Once someone is a permanent resident, they have rights, even if they might be a complete jacka**. As others have mentioned, unless it can be proven that the marriage was not entered into in good faith, you can't show visa/immigration fraud, and it will not be USCIS's or ICE's concern.

The very best you can do is to take out the trash, and build a new life for you and your daughter, as fast as possible.

Anyone check out the processing times over at USCIS?  They updated them yesterday for every service center, including both CSC and VSC (see note at bottom of page) and dated them "as of December 31, 2016" at the top of the list.  At first I was excited!! Then I began scrolling.....
 
They updated every single form for all centers, including VSC & CSC with current processing date of JULY 28, 2016?!?  FOR ALL!  Ugh...  Looks to me like quite the error....or was it intentional? <sigh> Seriously, just hope we hear something soon! 
 
 

I think this is more a matter more of WHICH school would an online bachelor's be pursued through as a lot of very credible schools offer these programs now. (UofM, UC-Berkley, etc) and they carry the same, if not more, clout as on-campus (depending on career path).

From a purely immigration standpoint, marrying two foreigners and getting them greencards, then divorcing them very quickly after and trying a third time is a huuuuuuge red flag. I suggest she go and live with 3rd guy now (well, once properly divorced from #2), wait for a while til she marries, and stay there for a few years. That will both give her time to really get to know the third guy, and the living together and her being willing to live abroad will help with the visa process.
