Thanks for the headups about BDO. Unfortunately that might be the option we are left with. My brother has an account with BDO, he’ll be asking about the fee, exchange rate, swift code, etc. looks like we will just have to do wire transfer. They seller of the land is asking for maneger’s check which I believe like a cashier’s check in the US.

How old are your children? We did this before. My daughter birth certificate parents was my parents. We had to hire a lawyer in the Philippines to help us fix the birth certificate then hired a lawyer here in the US to help us file the petition and provide all the necessary legal paperworks to bring my daughter here. We did a DNA requested by my lawyer to file along with I-130. It took us almost 3 years until finally my daughter moved here. We spent lots of money sending money for my daughter to go to school back home and all the things she needed. Me flying back home to see her every year and the attorneys we hired. I kept all the receipts and remittances copy and my itineraries and pictures.

Thanks Greenbaum and Hank! Yes! Mailing out the copy of my BC again and copy of my marriage certificate and I will also include the copy of my baptismal certificate where it shows my maiden name even my mothers name in it. I plan to mail it out tomorrow. Not wasting any time.

I do not know where is my daughter's dad. We dont have communication.the DNA is between me and my daughter. Apparently USCIS wants more evidence. They are not satisfied on the court documents we submitted and still thinks that we are trying to petition my daughter fraudulently because the BC was changed after 6 years or couple months before we filed her petition.

We have scheduled for infopass last week. Our appointment is on Friday. We haven't receive tge letter fron uscis yet.

I think you're talking about the Red mark which starts on letter F on her visa.. That's what I wrote on my I-485 application.

Every state has different requirements.. you can get ssn before or after marriage as long as her I-94 is valid.. I applied for my SSN after our marriage so that we don't have to come twice at SS office.. We saved time and gas.. Lol!!

Hi.. I just wanted to inform you that I called SMEF-COW just now.. Schedule for you (as a spouse of Norwegian)is Monday-Friday at 8:30am.. Requirements is your passport with your visa.. It's Ok that your name is still in your maiden name..
