i remember my biggest takeaway from CFO was that I should talk about finances with my new husband. That I should sort that out and make sure I have a say in it. And we did, and that has prevented a whole lot of confusion about money in our 6 years of marriage.

But then again, CFO is merely a harm reductive measure. I’m not deluded that it’s perfect. Real change to stop trafficking and abuse needs to go beyond just the relationship level. And attending CFO is not gonna stop abusive people from abusing Filipinos."

I am so impressed with you writing skill, and simply wanted to say that.  Perfect grammar, perfect word use--just eloquent.  Two thumbs up!  Nowadays even most American grads cannot write so eloquently.

That's all I wanted to say though I'd be curious as to what field you are in, or intend to be in?  But a response is not necessary.

Haha! Thank you! My US-born husband does ask me to edit his reports for him when he was in grad school.

Writing (and lots of it!) is one of the many things I do. I'm currently an injury and violence epidemiologist at a university-based research center.
